Luxury Log Home The Reserve

Your house was beautiful. Thank you so much for letting us stay there. My husband and I have five children between us and it isn’t often we get to see all of them at the same time. We all had a great time at your home.

The home was an amazing fit for our large families. The kids absolutely loved the downstairs game area and having the room where the cousins could all hang out. There was a storm moving into the area during the time we were scheduled, and it was communicated to us by the host which was very much appreciated. We had four wheel drive trucks and were able to make it in and out of the neighborhood with no issues with nearly two feet of snow. The person who plows the neighborhood did a great job of keeping it plowed. We would definitely stay again. There was so much room for everyone. It was also very well stocked with dishes and any item we needed to cook while there.

Place was perfect!! Two minute walk to the hill and the overflow parking was great as well. Super close.

Great family spaces! Ski in ski out location great!Kitchen and house well stocked with needed equipment!Hosts were responsive and helpful:)To be noted…… the driveway is very steep( this was addressed prior to stay by the host) and is shoveled every snow morning , but can be intimidating ! The distance from entry to “The Reserve” and the house particularly during snow season takes about 10-15 min depending on roads and then another 15 down to the base area restaurants etc. All in all a wonderful home with lots of room for family fun!Note to host: Coming in after dark was difficult to find the house and navigate the driveway as there were no lights on the outside at all ! Would be most helpful to have some lighting on porch and on garage:)

The home was perfect for our family! We had plenty of room and enjoyed the entire home. Our host was very clear and set great expectations for the driveway. Our family Christmas was perfect and we came home with memories to last forever!

Excellent property and value. The reason for 4 out of 5 is because the host took a very long time to respond to any message. Also the window in one of the bedrooms didn’t close at all. I let the host know and they said “put a towel over it. Thankfully it was good weather so the temperature was ok but bugs did get in.

The cabin was beautiful and would definitely stay there again.

The property was absolutely beautiful. Personally, I don't think the listing or pictures do it justice. Our entire family of 18 people were able to stay comfortably with room to spare. The kitchen was large and nicely stocked. The dining area had a spot for everyone to eat. The basement was AWESOME! Full bar area, Pool Table, Foosball table and a ton of games for all ages. The outdoor space was also very accommodating including plenty of seating and a bonfire pit. I would highly recommend this property.

The home and property are lovely. We had 13 adults and still had room to spare.

So clean, spacious and accommodating for our large family. We love the Boyne area especially with short trips to beaches and shopping. Wonderful hosts have everything needed for a comfortable stay in their beautuful home. Grazie!

This was the best rental that we’ve ever had for our large extended family of 16. The house had so much room to spread out and it’s even better than the pictures. It’s in a very private setting and which was beautiful. It was close to Boyne City and Petoskey where we had a couple of fun days. We were also close to Young State Park and Petoskey State Park where we enjoyed the beaches. Communication with the owners was spot on! We’d love to come back!

Perfect for large group. Well equipped and lots to do in area. Was a gift to my entire family. Money well spent.Total success. Everyone had a great time. Only minus was not enough hot water but we just staggered showets. No biggy. Would do again.

My college friends and I get together every year for Memorial Day weekend and this place has been our favorite over the last 4 years! Perfect for large groups, golf & bonfires over the summer. The pictures on Vrbo don’t do this place justice!

Great home for a family ski weekend. Plenty of space for a comfortable stay.

This is the 19th year a group of friends have come to Boyne for an annual trip. This is only the 2nd time we have stayed in the same house (and will likely continue to stay in the house going forward as long as our party size remains the same).We had 5 families, so the 6 rooms were great. The way the house is laid out, the 4 bedrooms upstairs are pretty well insulated from any sound from the living room and the basement. Other things we appreciated:- The play zone/bar area in the basement - I think it has been updated since the pictures have been taken for VRBO.- huge dining room - there is plenty of seating for everyone. We also used this as a drop zone for all of our bags since it is right off the entry way. - Kitchen - fully stocked with any cookware you may need, including various sized crock pots. - It's the closest house to Kitz Cabin, which is ski-in/ski-out from the Escape Trail (a green). You can walk to it, but if you have kids, it's a bit uphill and exhausting with all the gear. We all drove. .

Loved it for our big group! Location was perfect!

All of us loved the home. So clean and so much to do. The basement was a kids heaven with all the games. The People size Sorry game was a very big hit. Ty for haveing sleds in the garage Liz and Nino thought of everything. All and all a perfect weekend in a beautiful cottage3.

We booked this property for a family/friends ski trip to celebrate my daughter’s 21st birthday. The set up was perfect for our group. The home is so beautiful and cozy with perfect amenities like a pool table, large selection of games, bar area, multiple televisions, etc. The location is great with ski in / ski out access. The one thing I would recommend for future stays is bring your groceries with you! The nearest grocery store is a hike and it’s difficult to get deliveries in this area.

Loved the house! Perfect for us! However, there was not enough snow to ski in/out so we had to drive to village. The driveway is steep but only an issue if no 4 wheel drive. Rock salt was provided which was a bonus. We would stay hereagain.

Property was amazing. Snow made the travel challenging but once everyone arrived safely we made family memories.

We had a group of 12- 6 couples. The cabin was perfect, for a large group. Lots of space, kitchen is well equipped, the beds were very comfortable. The fire pit was a huge success, the location worked well for biking and hiking. The owners were very friendly and crazy to work with. We will plan another trip and plan to book this cabin again. Successful Weekend✔️

House is fine, nice basement bar with walkout to fire pit. House is clean, but rather dated. Location is further from main road than anticipated, driveway is difficult to access on a steep grade. And just a caution- it Would be impossible with snow or ice or pulling a trailer.

Our group enjoyed our stay at this fantastic home. We cooked meals in the fully supplied kitchen. We had a campfire one night. The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are plentiful.

This was a great property for our 13-person family vacation. It was very clean and well stocked with necessities. Lots of seating for meals. Should update the VRBO listing to reflect that there is no hottub or ping pong table.

Absolutely beautiful home perfect for large groups - there were 9 of us and everyone had their own bed. Loved the large, well stocked, kitchen and three dining tables so again, plenty of room for everyone. Games in the lower level were a hit - especially the pool table. We would definitely stay here again.

Property is very well maintained and effortlessly accommodated a party of 8 with plenty of space, bathrooms, and resources. Great spot.

We stayed here during a soccer tournament weekend and the owners were absolutely wonderful. Everything was as described and the property was so spacious with enough room for the parents and kids. There were the right amount of rooms and bathrooms. Would highly recommend this place and would absolutely stay here again! :)

The house was great with a well stocked kitchen, large dinning room that fit our whole family and wonderful game room. Best we have ever had. The bedrooms and living space was great for aour large family. The host was very responsive to our needs and allowed us to check on early!
