    We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Pillar Peak Perch property in the Black Hills area, and it was an exceptional experience. The home's proximity to both Deadwood and Sturgis made it an ideal base for exploring the region's attractions. The property was impeccably clean, and we particularly appreciated the privacy it offered—no neighbors in sight, allowing for a truly secluded retreat. The outdoor deck provided a serene spot to relax and soak in the natural beauty surrounding us. It was the perfect setting for our girls' weekend getaway. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a peaceful and comfortable stay in the Black Hills. We will stay here again!

    This place was big enough for a group of 12 of us. Very clean!! We will definitely be staying here again! The pantry had crockpots, electric skillets and everything else you needed to cook. Very secluded!

    This house is beautiful and located at the top of a winding road, so very private. We loved sharing the outdoors with local deer and turkeys and there was space to play some outdoor games in the huge driveway (unfortunately, the wildlife would not join). Garage space is a premium as well. Beds very comfortable, stocked kitchen & pantry. Upper back deck area was FANTASTIC--enjoyed sitting at the fire table every nite. Wifi was not great--had to contact management company within 12 hours to locate router to reset (in a locked room) but probably to be expected due to the location. Showers are beautiful but extremely slippery--only 1 shower mat in entire house and no grab bars in showers. Not ideal, mostly for those over 50 or anyone not focused on maneuvering very carefully while showering. Hot tub water was green from the pollen in the area (I hope it was from the pollen)--though kids still used it and turned on the colorful outdoor lighting to ignore the green tinge.

    This is a beautiful property in our favorite location for vacationing in the Blackhills. Located perfectly between Deadwood and Sturgis, it provides all the comforts of home in a gorgeous setting. LOTS of room for five couples to spread out or gather together. The furnishings are good quality and the additional household items provided are plentiful and also good quality. Its a top notch rental in the area. Several suggested improvements - two for the house and one for VACASA. 1-Fix the wifi so more people can use it. It was sketchy and limited all week. 2-Provide some backup linens. For VACASA - provide more information on the website or in your emails to the renters about what is provided with the house. For example a list of the small appliances in the kitchen would have been helpful (i.e. it has a Keurig, toaster and large crockpot). Also tell future renters that you provide starter TP, paper towels, dishwasher pods. laundry detergent and garbage bags. Lastly provide written check-out procedures on the fridge for easy reference. Anna, the check-in agent was super helpful and attentive, but it would be easier on her and the renter if this information was provided ahead of time. Great rental - great location. Would rent again with a party this size for sure.

    It was very nice. Not as clean as I thought the hot tub has not been cleaned in a while and there was glass in the bottom that my father in law stepped on the first night there. And the Wi-Fi did not work. But it was still an amazing stay the cabin was beautiful and the view was beautiful!!
