Luxury Lakefront Private Pool House, Hot Tub

The property was excellent—new, well-finished, and equipped with all the amenities we needed. The views and sunsets were beautiful, and the hot tub was very enjoyable, though it didn’t have jets and didn’t get extremely hot. There’s no direct beach access, but the setting still feels relaxing and scenic. Note that there are exterior cameras around the pool area and garage, which some guests might find concerning. Overall, a wonderful stay and we're planning to book again next year!

This magnificent lake house is warm, inviting & stocked with every amenity you could want. The host & house exceeded all of our expectations from the private heated pool to game room, spacious and well stocked kitchen to large bedrooms & bathrooms and the most spectacular sunsets each night! Everything was sparkling clean & very well organized. So happy to have discovered it and spent the week creating amazing memories.

3 outdoor surveillance cameras pointed at the pool (1 directly) plus other outside and inside garage cameras that were not disclosed anywhere in the listing or otherwise as required to be disclosed per VRBO policy. We pulled into garage sometime after initial arrival to unload groceries and received a text - 'the owner saw you in the garage and requested you not use the garage.' Unsettling to now know we were being actively watched then add in the pool cameras. It just made us all feel very uncomfortable. Also No garage use wasn't disclosed anywhere either. After a series of emails, texts, and calls owner agreed to shut off the cameras but it still felt a little awkward. We covered the one by the pool that we could reach for the duration of the stay. Also there is no lake access from the house - the house is built on a bluff with no way to get down to the beach - this was not clear from the listing. Public beach access is not even within a walkable distance. Primary bed was rock hard and we had to use a topper we found just to be able to sleep on it. Hot tub is just that. No jets or jacuzzi - just a hot tub of water. All that said it is a really beautiful brand new home that is incredibly well-appointed and supplied. They refunded a portion of the rental.

AMAZING home with spectacular views of Lake Michigan!

The house was outstanding. It was clean, spacious and a great location. The only suggestion we had was to add some shade to the pool deck.
