Stayed Nov 20, 2025The Chapala Cottage was absolutely PERFECT for us! Not only did it contain abundant amenities, lots of room, super comfortable bed, linens and towels, but Rachael was an extremely responsive host. Super convenient location as State Street, with all it's local vibes and excellent food and shopping choices, was only a few blocks away.

Stayed Aug 11, 2023We stayed at this property for a cousin's wedding in Santa Barbara. The cottage is well-appointed and our host was attentive and checked in to see whether we needed anything. One note is that if you are traveling with anyone who has mobility issues, the tub has a very high side and it may be difficult to get in and out of the shower. Lovely location and nice amenities. Would definitely stay here again.

Stayed Sep 3, 2020Great spot in SB, easy to get around to all the places you want to see. The host is awesome, very communicative and made sure the stay went off without a hitch. She even came to drop off bikes that we used for the whole weekend! Just stay here you will not regret it.

Stayed Aug 31, 2019We had a great time staying at Rachael's house. She was extremely communicative, the check-in/out process was easy and the hot tub, grill and bikes were awesome perks. Location of the house was great, accessible to downtown/the funk zone via a short uber or bike ride. The house did get a little warm during the day without AC but it wasn't too bad! Would def recommend.
