Luxury beach home w. private pool, nearby beach access

We thoroughly enjoyed our mini vacation. The house was amazing; the online photos did not do it justice. The quaint neighborhood was beautiful and quiet (sans construction Nextdoor). The proximity to the clear water and sugary white sands of the beach was perfect. Everything we needed was really close by, as well. I would definitely recommend.

This home lives up to it’s description. It was simply beautiful! Extremely spacious, you can easily sleep 20+ (especially if you have small kids). There were a few things you shouldn’t have to deal with considering the amount you pay to rent but overall, we will definitely be booking again. The atmosphere truly felt like paradise!

We travel a lot for business and pleasure, and I’ve booked Air B & B/VRBOs dozens of times. Ranging from small 2 bedroom condos, to mansions that will sleep 60 people. I’ve never left a bad review on a single one, but this was ridiculous. It started with a pouring down rainstorm and we landed early, so I messaged them requesting an earlier check in if available to get out of the storm. They said they would get back to us and never did. We drove by and no one was there, it was empty and ready for us but they would not allow us in until 4pm and the door code was on a timer that ended up not working until 4:03. They’re extremely transactional and had terrible customer service. We ended up having less people staying in the house than what I reserved, we were running low on toilet paper by the second day. When I messaged them asking where more rolls were, they responded with they only provide one roll per bathroom. With a house that was booked for 15 adults and 5 bathrooms, all they had was those tiny cheap rolls, and only 1 in each bathroom. The first day we planned to go down to the beach I couldn’t find beach towels anywhere. So I messaged and asked, because this is a beach property rental with a pool (which was not very clean by the way,) They responded that they do not provide those either. I’ve never once stayed in a beach or lake property rental with a pool, that you have to bring or buy your own towels for. There were cockroaches in the master on the first floor. There was sand in 3 of the beds when we arrived, so clearly they do not strip and wash them. There were empty beer cans next to the pool when we arrived. They do not provide ANYTHING, even the dish soap they give you is small 1-2 time use disposable package, so you can’t really do dishes and clean up any cooking mess either. They do not have the basics like salt and pepper, or coffee, or coffee filters. Or even hand soap. We had reserved the house for 15 women, there ended up only being 12 of us. I wouldn’t recommend renting this house at all, but I definitely would not if you’re traveling with children. The house is beautiful inside, but the outside does not look nearly as nice in person and the view is not at all what they show online. It’s unfortunate because this property could be an incredible rental if they cleaned up a bit and had the smallest amount of customer service.

The property mgt company was fantastic and very responsive. The property was perfect for our large extended family. The only negative was the oven wouldn’t hold temperature but they did come out to review as soon as I made them aware. Hopefully it gets corrected for the next family. Overall we enjoyed our stay!

it was okay but we had problems with the fridge , pool filter , and a few cockroaches .

Exceeded our already high expectations. Front yard pool was used much more than we anticipated. 5-minute walk to a beautiful not too crowded beach. Good shopping nearby. Great place to walk. 5 bedrooms, each with a bath. 4 porches. Kitchen and living area facilitated the interaction of our 16.

Overall it was good. Shower downstairs faucet came off. No dryers in bathrooms. Pool was dirty.
