The rooms were amazing. The theater was wonderful. The host responded quickly to any questions. The kitchen & bar exceeded any expectations. So many extra conveniences were included in our stay.

Absolutely incredible stay! So much space and beautifully decorated mansion, but if feels more like staying in a castle! Amazing amenities and they had everything we could possibly need.

Words will never be able to convey how absolutely gorgeous this place is! We walked in and our jaws dropped! Not only was it absolutely stunning, but it was pristine and clean. This place well surpassed our expectations. It was fully stocked and comfortably accommodated our group of 26 ladies. The owner is absolutely precious and she made herself well available for any of our needs.

This home is absolutely beautiful. The pictures do not show how fabulous it really is. Every room is decorated to perfection. It is very comfortable and relaxing. The kitchen is a dream and the pantry is full of all types of appliances. Just about anything you would evet need. The beds are comfortable and the showers are amazing. We will definitely return. Mary was a wonderful host. She's great!

This place is awesome! Hosted my family for my nearby wedding there and it was so cool, everyone loved it.

We could not have asked for a more amazing place to stay for my cousin’s 60th birthday! Our family enjoyed every second in this spacious location… that had ALL the amenities and so many fun and interesting “finds” throughout the home. The history of the area and location were especially charming. This was a 10 out of 10 stay! PS… the kitchen was so big we were able to have a “cook-off”… :)

The place was Huge and large enough for 23 adults plus 9 children. It was a 4 day, 3 generation reunion. The location provided lots of options for excursions. The house had a huge home theater that was perfect for a presentation we did. To top it off, the kitchen was huge and extremely well-stocked with staples, condiments, dishes and pots and pans and industrial appliances. The place was clean and the house rules were short and sweet. I couldn’t have chosen a more perfect venue for our reunion.

This house is fun! It has a pool table, a pinball machine, a poker table, and a piano keyboard. It has a first-class theater room with a candy counter. There is outdoor seating for 20 with a large grill. It is super clean with soft linens. It has a well-stocked commercial kitchen. Each room is uniquely decorated-much of the decor honors the old telephone building that it is. For 4 days, our family, ages 1 year old to 70, stayed here, at times wandering into downtown Sandusky, or by Lake Erie, or riding our bikes. But mostly we enjoyed being in the house, playing games, and enjoying all the amenities, which include Brio trains, books and toys for kids, throw blankets in baskets, K-cups, lots of pantry items from spices to crock pots. We have such great memories from here. Everyone would come back!

Loved the property and the area.

Magnificent transformation of a business property into a spectacular event/Vrbo vacation home. Everything imaginable in creative, industrial, practical and reimagined space that our 4 families thoroughly enjoyed. Professional cook’s kitchen with every chef’s need. Big hit was the movie studio and game room. We didn’t have time to make use of the patio space. Walked to ice cream, take out and splash pad/playground. Easy fun getaway.

This is one of the most well-stocked places we have stayed in, going so far as to provide make up remover and a room of kids' toys! The owners are clearly extremely thoughtful. I greatly appreciated that every room was clean, and we loved the theater room with complentary concession stand! My family and I loved all of the showers. The beds also had the softest sheets! My minor complaints are the check-in and checkout times. The owner was clear it takes a lot of time to get such a large space clean. We left home early for our 7 hour drive to avoid traffic only to spend 3 hours trying to entertain ourselves before we could enter, thankfully a little earlier than the official check-in time. For many of the places we've stayed in, if we are given the codes to the house, that means we can enter, but I'm happy I asked before we entered here as there was a fee for entering early. The 10 am checkout time was a bit challenging for those of us with toddlers. To be fair, the check-in and checkout times are consistent with those of most hotels, making this a minor complaint. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

This property was amazing!!! The amenities were fantastic - truly anything you can imagine needing was provided. The rooms were comfortable and there was plenty of space for my group. The kitchen was gorgeous and the living room was a great hangout space. The movie room was also amazing and the candy bar and popcorn machine were a great touch!! We loved our weekend stay!

This house was an amazing location for our family reunion. There was plenty of room for socializing, including big rooms for time together and bedrooms for everyone to sleep well without a lot of noise from room to room. The kitchen was spectacular and made the cousin who loves to cook for a crowd very happy! I wish it had been cooler so that we could have enjoyed the patio outside more of the time than we did. We are choosing our next reunion time and may well come back here!

Great location and easy to CP

This stay was for a family(14 of us) to get together to celebrate my daughter's fiftieth birthday This home was exceptional: the kitchen was immense with every utensil and appliance you would need to cook any meal, the theater room was a big hit with plenty of variety of games and videos with overstuffed chairs, the game room was large with numerous games and even a candy bar, the bedrooms (14) were all nicely decorated and comfortable, the long dining table was great for meals and playing games, and finally the outdoor patio was great for eating outside and enjoying the fire pit. Also, the house was conveniently located close to a winery, escape rooms, beach (Huron) and of course Cedar Point.

We had a fantastic time at this Sandusky mansion! The place was large enough for our group of 27. The kitchen was fully stocked, as advertised, for preparing meals for our entire group and there was plenty of room for us all to eat together. The kids (and kids at heart) loved the game room and theater. Parents appreciated the high chairs and kids' toys. Compared to other rentals, the beds were very comfortable. And the location was perfect - we could easily walk to the waterfront or get ice cream or coffee - and we had a fun day at the waterpark nearby. We didn't use the outdoor space very much because it was hot, but it was also quite nice. Check in and check out were a breeze. Would definitely recommend this property to others with large groups looking for a place to gather and find something for everyone.

EXCELLENT family weekend trip! This 14 bedroom house was perfect for my whole family! It had everything you could want or need in it! 14 beautyfully designed bedrooms, all different, all comfortable, all a nice size, and CLEAN! 20 theater chairs! Game room! Nice big kitchen, living room, and dining area for my 20 guest to enjoy together at the same time and be comfortable together! Not all family could come, but house was big enough to accommodate, if they did! Front porch was added (not on website)! Patio was updated (not on website)! Close to downtown could walk around area, shopping, eating, and site seeing! All 20 of my family members LOVED our stay here! Mary was GREAT responding to anything thing I needed to know or asked about & then some!! We will DEFINITELY rent again!!!!! THANK YOU!!!!! GREAT TIME!!!!!!!

This rental is even more impressive than the pictures show. To say it is well-stocked would be an understatement. The house served the needs of our youngest and oldest family members extremely well, with 24 staying in the house for a week. For some meals, we had 33, and cooking in the large kitchen made it easy. Everyone agreed....this is the best rental we've ever had!

Blown away from the moment we walked in the door. From the floors, chandeliers, lighting and finishes, to the luxurious towels, rugs, bed linens and pillows. Not to mention the solar powered black out curtains in every room! If you like a firm bed this is the place for you. Pure heaven. The kitchen and pantry are stocked to the hilt. The game room and stocked candy bar did not disappoint and the theaters’ sound system was banging. I’m sure our late night karaoke sesh was heard by all both near and far. We were also pleasantly surprised by the outdoor space and fire pit in the back and the beautiful front porch with fire table. We would definitely stay here again and again…highly recommend!

I truly cannot say enough good things about this house and Mary and her husband. This house could not be more perfect. All of the little details and care that Mary and her husband put into this home is remarkable. It felt cleaner than a hotel and the layout was fantastic. Our AAU travel basketball team stayed here while in town for a tournament, and we all could not get over how amazing of a stay it was. This place is the perfect getaway with the town being so fun, the lake being so close, and of course Cedar Point being just down the road. We loved this place so much that we are already planning next year’s stay. If you have anything with a large number (or honestly even a small number) of people, 100000% choose this place over a hotel. Mary and her husband were so considerate with even the amenities and supplies left for use. If you stay here though, please treat it with the respect and love it deserves. This is the most amazing property that has every amenity you could ever imagine. Truly made cooking preparation simple with all of the resources that were provided. The openness of the floor plan truly gave space for all to gather and have their own privacy. This house is the perfect gathering place for family and friends. I would definitely book again.

The perfect and unique house for any celebration. Around every corner is a surprise. It was so clean and organized. It is stocked with everything you could ever want. The kitchen is a chefs dream and the long kitchen island was the hub of activity for our weekend. The back yard was a perfect place to relax and regroup after exploring the Sandusky area. Mary was an ideal host. She answered any and all questions within minutes leading up to the trip. All I can say is book this house as soon as you can. It is worth it!

This was by far the best experience we have had renting a home. We celebrated a milestone birthday with our family-12 adults and 5 children ages 3-15. The home was great for all ages. The movie theater and game room were loved by all. I loved the kitchen-the home is very well equipped with everything needed to make gourmet meals. The host is very easy to communicate with and very responsive. The location is ideal-close to the downtown and very safe and walkable. The house truly is a mansion with every amenity imaginable. And it was spotless! Thank you!

Just enjoyed our second time visiting this property; and again, had a great stay! We’re a group of 16 that connect each winter for a long weekend of fun, food, and hanging out - and this property couldn’t be more accommodating! This property offers comfort and space for a great getaway - including a large commercial kitchen; theater and game rooms, and various sitting rooms to just chill/relax.And the hosts provide very well for their guests - many unexpected conveniences are provided that we’ve not seen in other rentals, making stays here extremely comfortable.Thanks again for great getaway!!

Many hosts want a 5-Star review, but few offer 5-Star accommodations. This is not one of those properties. Everything exceeded expectation from the property itself to the interaction with the host. We booked a family Christmas weekend / birthday celebration for my mom’s 80th. We had a wonderful time. The home was wonderfully decorated for Christmas And accommodated our 23 guests with ease. Can’t say enough about the experience. If you’re on the fence, don’t hesitate to book.

This place is even more amazing than the photos depict! If I could, I would give it 6 stars or rate it 11/10! The hosts are the best I’ve ever encountered - quick responses and they were so generous in getting us some things to make our family celebration more special (votive candles / holders and mason jars to use for flowers). The location is great too! So walkable to everything. We only wish we could have stayed longer. But hope to return again someday for another family event.

The online pictures doesnt do this property justice. It was better than expected. Ive stayed at several other properties and this one by far takes the cake. The host were awesome. This property has set the standard. I definitely will stay again. 15 of us showed up and there was still plenty of room to spare.

This house was such a great spot for our family reunion! 26 of us under one roof. Great location, plenty to eat, drink and do within walking distance. Kids absolutely loved the theater room. Also great to be able to have meals all together.
