Stayed Apr 9, 2026The house was very nice inside. The neighboring houses are condemned. Getting a trailer in and out of the drive was a challenge as the drive is narrow and the train bridge obstructs view of the road. The property is located next to train tracks and trains entering the tunnel sound the horn at all hours. The trains are loud coal trains that run frequently. The house was clean and comfortable, if you can handle the train noise, the property is a fair price. They provide ear plugs to help with the noise.

Stayed Apr 17, 2026We had a great stay at Granny's Place! The house was extremely clean and comfortable and had everything we needed! The outdoor space was nice for hanging out at the end of our riding day. Will definitely stay here again! The train does run by next to the house and is a bit loud but it didn’t bother us.

Stayed Mar 28, 2026Drive is not meant for trailers if you are here to ride. We should have parked on the other side of the road. We had to get creative when it was time to head home. Had to stack the ramps from the trailer to back out onto the road. Otherwise the back of the gooseneck trailer would wedge into the asphalt. Nice big flat area on the other side of the road if you park there. Plenty of room at the house though for the sxs once unloaded.

Stayed Feb 23, 2026Needed a place to stay while in town for work. The house was very clean, well equipped, comfortable and about an hour closer than hotels. Check in was super simple, didn't have any issues. I will say trains passing was much louder and more frequent than I imagined, but earplugs were provided and overall it was a nice stay.

Stayed Sep 27, 2025Great place to stay in Welch. Everything was as described in description. Clean and check in was easy. Trailer parking is limited for longer trailers but fine for my 12 foot. Yes the train is loud but gives the place some built in entertainment.

Stayed Oct 17, 2024My husband and i are from welch pineville area. We came home for a union of my niece and her husband. This was perfect for our needs. The bridal party got ready here. The space worked wonderfully. I can see this as a frequently used home for our out of state family for important gatherings. The memories made in WV are always sweeter!

Stayed Jul 20, 2024House is close to many trails which was our main point of the stay. However, the house is next to a very active, very loud train. Making sleeping a challenge.
