Luxury 5 Bedroom Lake House with shared pool/spa at Lower Mill Estate

The house was really impressive but let down by the tired / grubby decor, a damaged window that overlooked the lake and some of the lighting in the kitchen didn’t work. Initially we had no hot water at the house, which was a little disappointing considering we had travelled quite a distance and some members of our party were unable to freshen up. We were charged an extra 100 for “cleaning” because we had a small dog with the group. There were no instructions for the ovens, hob or coffee machine which would have been helpful when catering for a large family group and it wasn’t obvious in the listing that there are CCTV cameras at the house, leaving me with the feeling that we were being monitored.

The house is fantastic for a group/ family getaway. Plenty of space and the open plan dining/ kitchen/ living area overlooking the lake is particularly special. Our family had a great stay. We made the most of the activity center and took out some kayaks. The on site restaurant is lovely and serves delicious local produce. Also great to have onsite swimming pools which the kids loved. Alasdair and his property manager James were very helpful and communicative before and during our stay. Alasdair was also kind enough to offer us an additional night for a very generous price. Thanks for a brilliant stay! I highly recommend this property

We had a family get together for a 50 th wedding anniversary, involving Adults, Teenagers and toddlers It was a great venue and fantastic accommodation

Lake House is well equipped for 10 to stay. The bunk bedded room can get very warm. Every where is very tastefully decorated and also comfortable. We had a great time and were able to celebrate a birthday with 3 families together. Thank you!

We had a fantastic weekend. We took advantage of the facilities on site and the comfort of the house. There is so much to do that three days didn't feel like enough and we plan to return to take advantage of the things we couldn't squeeze in. A fantastic getaway to suit all ages.
