Stayed Dec 20, 2025We spent a wonderful Christmas and New Year at Coopers Knowe, hosting family and friends. The house is beautiful, warm, spacious. The kitchen is better equipped than most people’s, with high end appliances. We cooked and baked everything and anything. The location is breathtaking: private but without feeling isolated, with the wonderful Glenuig Inn a short drive or 1 hr walk away. Pat is a superb host, whose local knowledge and advice helped us source everything we needed to host a brilliant Christmas without hassle. A truly special place. Thank you.

Stayed Sep 20, 2025Absolutely fabulous house beautifully situated against the loch with stunning views. Truly wonderful host who was very responsive and patient with enquirers. Superb information provided ahead of time described everything about the house and the places to visit. Expansive accommodation perfect for families and friends. Red deer in the trees nearby and fish eagles soaring in the sky. Beds very comfortable and the outside spaces (weather allowing) perfect for end of day cocktails watching the sun set on the local and impressive hills. Close to Ferry ports to reach the inner Hebrides and small isles. Quiet, private and definitely the perfect holiday accommodation

Stayed Oct 21, 2023Home from home but on a much bigger scale, great house with all you need. 9 of us stayed 3 generations from 2yrs to 61 yrs and 2 German shepherds who loved the garden and the woods. It as great views and walks from the house. It is remote that's why we booked it, so be prepared to travel half hour to Mallaig and 45mins to fort william, has i say we like to be remote.

Stayed Jun 24, 2023We have stayed in many houses over the years and this house beats them all. The ability to walk down to the shore, through the woods to the bay, and up the hills behind is magical. Even when it rained all day, as it did of course, there are so many glass doors and windows it doesn’t seem depressing. We strongly recommend Coopers Knowe
