Stayed Apr 24, 2026This house was perfect for our stay. The location can't be beat. We were withing walking distance of everything in town and directly across the street from Pies and Pints (delicious!) and walking/biking trails. Even the far end of town was an easy walk. It was a short drive to the New River Gorge Visitor Center and Bridge Walk (highly recommended!). Despite being on the main road, the house and property were quiet and peaceful. The house is well stocked, clean, and the size was perfect for our group of 6 and could have easily accommodated more. They layout made it easy to hang out in the kitchen or living room. We think it was even better than it looked in the photos! Check in /out were simple. The host, Bill, was kind, responsive, and easy to work with. After an unfortunate flight delay, he didn't hesitate to approve a last minute request for a late checkout. We highly recommend a stay with Bill and this property. We are already planning our return!

Stayed Oct 3, 2025This house is amazing. I loved the location - almost right across the street from the venue where our son was married. Lots of space and well equipped. I would have given 5 stars all around if not for the mattresses, they definitely need replaced. Would recommend.

Stayed Apr 28, 2025Six traveling girlfriends had a wonderful time in Fayetteville. We spent days hiking and driving through New River Gorge and even did Bridge Walk. Evenings spent at this wonderful home. Well appointed, had everything we could need. Comfy beds, thick towels and an outdoor fire pit which we used every night. Great location in town and walking distance to all shops and restaurants. Highly recommend!

Stayed Nov 7, 2024We really enjoyed staying at this location! Really close to downtown, across from a fairly popular bar, with a fantastic restaurant down the road within walking distance. Location had off street parking and was close to various hiking trails around the area. Bill was as excellent host! Would recommend and return!
