If you know what you are getting into this is a special place to stay. The Reserve is massive, approximately the size of Manhattan. The residences are a 12 minute drive off the highway. The grounds and pool area are immaculately kept. This is a unique opportunity to enjoy the peace and quiet of being surrounded by nature. We saw foxes, deer and plenty of birds. This would be a 5-star review if it weren't for the little annoyances. There was no aerator on the kitchen faucet so you take a shower anytime you use the sink. And then there were little things like no broom available, only 2 bowls, no dish sponge just j-cloths, and absolutely no amenities in the kitchen (salt, pepper, sugar, etc.). Otherwise, highly recommended.

For starters, the main gate to the property doesn't fully open. You have to pry one side open while the other side drags on the concrete and doesn't budge. There is absolutely no lighting outside between the cabanas and the main house. Pitch black, uneven sidewalks/walkways, random big rocks... Those aren't fun to find with your feet. The pool was covered in algae and chipped tiles. The furniture in the main house was literally falling apart and had holes in the stained fabric The freezer on the refrigerator wouldn't open at all. There's no light in the fridge portion, and it smelled of mildew. Sheets and toilets had the same combination of yellow and brown stains. It honestly feels like the owner bought it, put it up for rentals and forgot about it.

Gorgeous property, but.. needs a little maintenance. Broken window, TV could not connect with any type of service, cold water only. Now that sounds terrible, right? Not so much! The property and surroundings are absolutely amazing. In three nights we spotted a Jaguar twice, fox, deer, and all kinds of birds. The buildings could very easy be five star. They need a good solid day of work by a maintenance person to have it back to it's original condition. Even with my very honest review, we would definitely stay here again. We are in n Belize, of course!

We really enjoyed our stay. We loved waking up to the wildlife and having a private space to retreat to after a long day of sightseeing. We would definitely stay here again.

It’s was amazing !!! The 3 separate buildings, a private pool, cabana , outdoor Showers & soaker tub ….it was simply the best place we’ve ever stayed !! The wildlife during the day, and the night is just absolutely phenomenal! The stars are like something you’ve never seen before in your life if you’ve never been to a place that dark. It was absolutely amazing!!! Will be back soon !!!

We didn’t not make it to the Zumba house , we had an emergency the night before we were to fly out and could not go so we cancelled the trip . We will never be booking with VRBO again, for the simple fact we didn’t get any of our money refunded , VRBO is a big rip off

I enjoyed the property and solitude. There were some issues with a smelly fridge and beach towels but there were others available that did not smell. My only issue was the mouse/mice in the common area. I had to put everything in the fridge so it wasn’t eaten. (Also- the freezer does not open). But the area was very quiet for walking and I enjoyed floating in the pool.

This place...if it had the chance, could be one of the best places in Belize. Unfortunately, there are too many things that have been overlooked that, had they been working, this would have been 5 star all the way.
