This centrally located, beautiful miner s cottage has been tastefully renovated and landscaped and is only a 2 minute walk to cosmopolitan Pakington St and a 15 minute walk to Geelong CBD and train station. It features two bedrooms, immaculate bathroom, open plan living, dining & kitchen.
There is a queen bed in one bedroom & a double bed in the second bedroom. Fresh towels and bed linen is supplied. Handmade guest soaps & shampoo are also supplied.
Enjoy Wi-Fi, Netflix andStan on the TV.

The Space
This miner s cottage is a piece of history in Geelong. Being over 100 years old, this cottage is full of character with a modern twist. Exposed original beams, high ceilings, rear deck, landscaped front and year yard, freshly painted and carpeted, beautiful furnishings and plantation shutters are only a few amazing features of the cottage.

Guest Access
Guests will have access to the entire cottage which includes a rear manicured garden, decked area and a covered car space for a small car. There is plenty of off street parking available.

Interaction With Guests
Generally, I will be available to assist during any stay, mainly through the Airbnb App. If you have any problems just call or message me as I am normally only about 15 minutes away unless travelling or at work.

    The house had everything we needed and was a welcome retreat during a busy and hot weekend in Geelong. Owner was really helpful and responsive. Comfortable beds and great location close to cafes and shops.

    WYSIWYG. The photos are accurate representations of the property. The cottage is lovely, clean, comfortable, and reasonably equipped for a couple to spend time in Geelong. We were visiting family and the accommodations were perfect for that trip. The owner was extremely attentive and responsive. The proximity to PAKO shopping, coffee and eating was wonderful. And access to the esplanade for longer waterfront walks was great. Kitchen tools and supplies are spartan, but sufficient for breakfast and lunch. Dinner can happen if you’re keeping it real basic. Some of the more typically stocked tools, like a blender or grill aren’t available, so if you’re a serious chef, just align your expectations accordingly. Enjoy those meals elsewhere. Be aware that a new home is beginning construction right next door. We were away all day and it didn’t disturb us in any way, but I can image that, in the next 6 months, there could be some disruption during daytime weekday hour. We’ll return to this property and we are recommending it to other family members.

    A nicely set up property in a quiet street. Close to excellent restaurants, cafes, shopping and gourmet deli/ groceries. As the cottage is quite compact, would recommend for couple or family with 1 child.

    This is the perfect place to stay and in a fantastic location. Jack has thought of everything and you want for nothing. The house is so clean, not to mention warm and welcoming with a perfect size deck that gets the morning sun, great for a morning coffee. The established and enclosed garden is private and the right size, allowing for some play and relaxation. We parked our car and never really needed to drive given it’s close proximity to Pako. We will be staying again.
