Stayed Jul 27, 2024Nice house, very comfy with a lovely pool and lots of seating areas, flowers and gardens. Very nice view of ocean from atop a big hill. Road construction was ongoing almost our entire 2 week stay, so it was often noisy and difficult to take our car to go places. The kitchen cooking pans were pretty old and need to be replaced. The lights in the house are all bright white and need to be changed to soft white bulbs to provide a warmer and more relaxing ambiance. Also, there is no AC inside the common areas of the house so at night it was extremely hot because we had to close all the windows to keep all the mosquitos out. It would be nice if the owners added a couple more AC units (just the bedrooms have them). The host was quite good and responsive. The neighborhood is a little sketchy in terms of safety, but the house had an electric fence and lots of security cameras, and the caretakers house was adjacent to ours, so there was a reasonable level of feeling safe. The beaches are close by but you mostly need a car to access. Not a whole lot of great restos but we found several that were quite good!
