Luxurious 11,600 SQ' Mullett Lake Home & Carriage house,Private on Mullett Lake

We were a group of 11 and all Seniors. The rooms were all so interesting as the house was decorated with some beautiful artwork. We took advantage of a fun game room, home theater room, hot tub and pontoon boat! We cruised and fished on Mullet Lake. While staying here we took a day trip to Makinaw Island which was a 40 minute drive to catch the ferry… very convenient!The beds were comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. Jill and Jim were very helpful and responsive with any questions we had.The only down side was the steps to the lake but by the end of the week we were all in better shape.

The main house and carriage house were super clean, well stocked and in excellent repair.

Our group of 19 was comfortable except that the top floor of the carriage house was very warm. All enjoyed the amenities and the pontoon boat. Great place for a large group!

This was a great place to stay for the whole family. Something for everyone.

The main house was nice, with plenty of room for everyone. The carriage was not as great- beds were uncomfortable and the bedroom on the top floor was very warm, no matter how low the temperature was set.

We had an amazing stay at Mullet Lake! Our extended family20 folks were very comfortable in the main house and the carriage house. Jill and Jim were over the top accommodating and were very happy with everything! The house, lake and boat were all amazing! We will definitely be back! Thanks Jill and Jim for all you did to make our family vacation a huge success!

We rented this house for a wedding and were incredible pleased with all aspects of our stay. The house looks exactly as it does in the pictures. And more importantly all the amenities worked during our stay. The sauna, the jacuzzi, the movie room. It was spotless when we arrived both inside and out. There was lots of space for 20 guests who stayed in the house. We would definitely stay again!!

Plenty of great amenities. Game / Bar Room was excellent ! Awesome 12 person dining room .

A 3 generation family trip of 15. We had a wonderful experience. We will be back.

The bedrooms were sumptuous, the group played with all the amenities, loved the beach the best. Cooked and served 18 without much trouble

We are a family of 7 with 5 adult children. We can’t all make it for the entire week but arrive and depart according to family work schedules. The adult children, their spouses and our grandchildren all loved the home and beach area. Driveway had room for all family and guest vehicles. The basement arcade and theater room were a huge hit. I spent at least two hours per day in the indoor BBQ and fireplace room which includes a make-up air ventilation system. The home has a Smart System which is intuitive and convenient. Building Managers were there to answer questions and address issues as necessary. Obviously, the pricing is at the higher end of the VRBO range but for the first time (in comparison to our previous Charlevoix and Harbor Springs venues), I feel like we received the accommodations we paid for!

Our large extended family enjoyed all of the amenities in the house as well as outdoors!

House. Awesome. Amenities. Awesome. Communications and responsiveness with managers… superior. Pontoon boat worked out just fine. Great for ages 3-70!!!

Would love to have a few trees cut down so parents could at least see the lake or have a way for them to get down there. Stairs were in unpleasant surprise.

The property was perfect for our family get together. The artwork was amazing and enhanced the already phenomenal property. The patio area was the most popular place to gather. The lake is beautiful but was still a little cool the end of June. The living room and family room layouts facilitated gatherings. The game room was the most popular room for all ages, amazing selection. Among rental properties and hotels the fitness room had better equipment than all but high end hotels. It was better stocked than any other property we've rented. The property manager was very friendly, helpful, and responsive. As mentioned in other reviews going from the lake to the house can be a challenge for some. Highly recommend this property!

This 22-person property was advertised to have a beach, beach chairs, a boat dock, and a boat on Mullett Lake, which were pivotal in our decision to rent this property over others in Northern Michigan, particularly as we were organizing a special family weekend for my parents’ 80th birthday. The total rental cost for the property was double that of osimilar homes in the area for a 3-night stay. I was required to pay over half of this amount upfront and the remaining half about 45 days before occupancy. The property manager, Jill Feagan, did not call or text me that the beach, pontoon boat, and boat dock were not be available for use. The unavailability of these amenities, as depicted in the VRBO listing, was devastating. We had our 22 family members traveling from Chicao, New York, Montana, Virgnia and Michigan. Upon our arrival on Memorial Day weekend, there was no view, no boat and a mountain climb to the water. The boat dock was not in and covered the beach, making both unusable. The boat lift also blocked the view of the water from the lower deck and gazebo area and provided for unsightly pictures. The exterior facilities of the house were not ready and unusable. The patio furniture and fire pit furniture were locked up, and the gazebo and beach areas were inaccessible. After the furniture was brought out, we realized it was filthy, and only sat 6. Only half the games in the basement worked. The lawn was not cut. No shampoo or soap in bathrooms or showers. Run!
