Burt Lake Waterfront Lakehouse

Wonderful house with everything you need (might need to bring some plastic silverware) and right on a clean lake. We had such a great time, and Joe was very responsive. It is also close to lots of fun things to do. Highly recommend!!

Great place from the location, amenities, house etc. We have done the inland waterway for the last 20 years. This was probably our favorite place to stay during that time. Would book it again next year.

We truly enjoyed our stay on the lake. The place was completely stocked with supplies for the week and there was plenty of sleeping areas for everyone. Close by stores and restaurants and given a list of other restaurants in the nearby area. The swimming off the dock was great for my grandkids as the water was only a few feet deep.

This home was exactly what we needed for an extended weekend getaway. The host was always accessible and quick to respond with any questions we had. The home was cozy and located in a great location with a great view of Burt Lake! We would definitely stay here again.

Truly had an amazing time at this house, everything was as described in the listing. The view was even better than the pictures! Could spend everyday down on the dock relaxing. Our group didn’t have any kids, but found the space to be exceptionally kid friendly as well. Mostly laid down on the dock with friends and read books and enjoyed the sunshine. Burt lake itself is so beautiful. Hoping to come back again! Really loved it here and would recommend to anyone. Joe was super flexible and wonderful to work with!!

We have stayed at many VRBO’s and this was by far the best equipped especially the kitchen! Two decks and a dock were awesome for a family.Joe was very responsive and was always available!The view from both decks was stunning! We did not want to leave! So close to stores and restaurants too!! Thanks for the memories- we will be back!

This house has incredible views of Burt Lake from the two main bedrooms and the living room, plus multiple levels of decks. The dock is great as well with chairs and shallow water. There is a small beach area with a bit of sand for kids to play. The house was well stocked and clean. The double full size bunk beds are great for kids! Very close to Vivio’s and the state park for a full beach and small playground. Easy to get to Indian River as well.

We arrived at a well kept and clean home that was just like the listing described. We had plenty of space for five of us and it would have been comfortable for up to 14 I would say. There was comfortable sitting in the living room, the kitchen had enough space for three of us to cook, and there was enough outdoor deck space to thoroughly enjoy it and not feel cramped. It was especially great to walk from the deck down to the dock and go for a swim. I had my two kayaks and after maneuvering them down one flight of stairs to the dock, the lake was very accessible and we just beached the kayaks at night. It ended up being very central to many things. We went to Petoskey, we played disc golf nearby, we went for a hike, we went to Mackinac Island, and just enjoyed the whole general area.

The perfect location! My family of 10 had plenty of room and being right on Burt Lake was a bonus. The owners were quick to respond with anything we needed. We are already talking about next year and can’t wait to stay again!!
