The house has a canoe and inflatable tubes available to rent during your stay. The crystal clear water is plenty deep any time of year to enjoy river activities.

The eighth sleeping space was converted into a game / play room with a pool table however, we can make 2 roller beds available as there is plenty of space. There’s capacity for up to 17 people.

We are here for you during your stay, but our level of interaction is up to you. We`re only a phone call/message away. You will be able to self check-in upon arrival. We are focused on making sure you have a 5-star experience during your stay. If for any reason, this isn`t the case, please reach out and let us know.

Please remember that you`re staying in a house, not a hotel. Please treat the space with respect. If any problems arise, we will do our best to take action asap however there is no one living on-site 24/7.

We do allow weddings and events with the following structure:

• The home must be reserved for a minimum 2-night stay (weekend rental required)

• In addition, we charge a separate event/venue fee

For weddings up to 75 guests:
• Venue fee: $1,750

For larger weddings (up to 150 guests):
• Venue fee: $3,800

For all events, we also require:
• Refundable security deposit ($2,500)- Will be returned within 10 days after the event.
• Event insurance policy- $1,000,000 liability (Mt Mitchell Rentals must be listed as additional insured)
• Coordinator (for larger events)
• Portable restrooms for events over 75 guests
• All vendors must be licensed and insured
• All garbage is to be bagged and taken after the conclusion of the event

We do not provide rentals or planning services, but you`re welcome to bring in your own licensed vendors

For events, access to the interior of the home is limited to registered overnight guests only.

All other event attendees are to remain in the outdoor event areas unless otherwise approved in advance.

This helps us protect the home and maintain a high-quality experience for all guests.
No smoking or vaping inside the home or around the property

Evidence of smoking indoors may result in additional cleaning fees.

No burning of candles or incense in or around the property

No parties, events, or large gatherings.

Only registered guests are permitted on the property.

Quiet hours are 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM.
Please be mindful of neighbors and outdoor noise, especially on decks and patios.

Unregistered overnight guests are not permitted.

This property is strictly no pets. No pets of any kind are permitted on the premises at any time.

If evidence of a pet is found (including but not limited to pet hair, odor, stains, damage, or noise complaints), the guest will be charged a $500 violation fee, plus any additional cleaning, deodorization, or damage repair costs incurred
