Luxe ocean-view beach estate - amazing views, private pool, hot tub & elevator

The house had a amazing location! The penthouse floor was amazing and elegant and the view was breathtaking! The main living room and kitchen area needs updating with a fresh coat of paint or at least some deep cleaning. All the decking could use to be replaced. There were boards sticking up making it hazardous.

Overall, the property was very nice and very close to beach access with a very nice pool. The house needs a little work, such as a paint job and de-cluttering of the main kitchen as it was very cramped and you could barely walk around the table. Thank goodness for the elevator as the spiral staircase was difficult to maneuver. The queen size beds were extremely uncomfortable and the master really needs a ceiling fan for air circulation. There were plenty of plates, cutlery and glasses, while other utensils were missing, such as serving spoons. We did come across several cockroaches in the house, which was concerning. We didn't have internet access for 2 days, but the service man that came out was very intent on getting it fixed for us. Very quick response when calls were made to vacasa with issues.

Other than the elevator not working and my mother not being able to enjoy the top deck very much because of the stairs, this house was amazing. Beach access was very close. Pool and yard area was a huge hit with the family. The deck over the garage was so nice, that we were able to set up out cornhole boards up there. This house made my family very happy. Would definitely book again.

Top floor and bedrooms had nice ocean views and were well furnished. Great decks and furniture and beautiful/big pool hot tub. Great spaces upstairs to enjoy coffee/food indoors or out but difficult with two fridges on multiple levels and full kitchen only on bottom floor. Close to beach, with a small private service road in between, but closer walk than some beach houses on the beach. Vacasa staff were quick, friendly, and extremely helpful when needed.

The house itself is in a nice area, quiet for the most part, with a short walk to the beach. Having an elevator and pool was what made me decide to rent this house because we had elderly, handicapped family staying with us. The cleanliness of the rental upon arrival was my main issue. It is what puts a damper on this house and on referring it to others. When first entering we quickly realized we would need to clean before we could begin to enjoy our stay and feel comfortable sleeping in the beds. I get that it is a rented house that has had many guests and everything may not be cleaned to personal standards, but I do think that upon arrival guests should not have to worry about cleaning first thing. I took several pictures because I was so disappointed in the cleanliness. Having the washer and dryer and dishwashers definitely came in handy. Upon arrival we found surfaces not wiped in the kitchen and bathrooms, a sandwich bag with the remains of chips left in plain view beside a lamp in the 2nd floor living room along with fragments of those chips on the floor, dirty silverware in kitchen drawers on the 2nd and 4th floors, a dirty towel still in a drawer of the kitchen on 2nd floor, a dirty display plate left out in plain view in the 2nd floor kitchen, floors on all levels that appeared lightly vacuumed but definitely not mopped clean, a missing door window in the 4th floor bedroom that was covered with reflective insulation, what appeared to be molded tape on top of the 4th floor bedroom bed frame, a broken coffee pot (still dirty) in the 4th floor kitchen, and cigarette butts on the floor of the bottom of the house near the pool area. The pool seemed clean but already had sand in it upon our arrival and an open bottle of liquor was found in the children's red toy container. Half way through our stay, the air conditioning on the 4th floor stopped working due to a very dirty, stopped up filter and compressor shutting down. However, it was addressed and the air was fixed the same day. We were told that someone would be by to replace the filter, however, that did not occur. The hot tub did not heat up for the first few days but after a confusing text exchange regarding paying for pool heat, a person showed up and primed the HOT tub so it would heat. There is a book in the house with different information that includes a statement about leaving the house as you found it, unfortunately, we couldn't do that, because we definitely left it cleaner than we found it.

This house was fabulous! Very clean and lots of gathering spots. The panoramic views from the top floor was our favorite spot to hangout. I love the sleepy beach town feeling. The pool was a perfect addition to our trip! I would rebook this home next summer!

The overall property and furnishing are a bit worn. Master bed spread was torn and the mattress pad was stained. The main kitchen was small and the lack of other kitchen utensils was sparse. The house lacked a good cleaning. The windows needed a good cleaning. It was difficult to see out of them. Surface cleaning was ok but floors were not swept under the beds. The dryer took several cycles to dry. The hottub was not functional for our stay and the pool lacked a good cleaning and chemicals as it turned green on our third day. We called numerous times regarding the hottub and got no response therefore we didn't even bother to call about the pool. There were loose stones around the pool area.

The home was lovely, but was extremely in need of a deep cleaning. The oven and largest burner on stovetop did not work. A new unit was scheduled to be delivered, but Hurricane Ian kept that from happening. The hot tub did not work during entire week, however, we were compensated for it. The ocean views were beautiful and was only a short walk to the beach.
