Luxe, lake-front open living for the whole family

Our stay was phenomenal! The house is laid out perfectly for multiple families and hanging out together. The kitchen drawers are labeled- which was such a smart idea. They had all that we needed, and then some. The dock and stairs to the shore was great for our younger kids. The older kids had a blast jumping in the water and fishing. We loved this home and host - she was very responsive. Definitely coming back!

everything was clean and the backyard/ pier was a great hangout spot for everyone.

We had 10 adults and were still comfortable in this well appointed house. The house has a great location and dock for fishing, and the host was very responsive and accommodating.

We loved this property! We had a girls weekend and everyone got their own bathroom and nice big beds. It was a lovely house that we found to be clean with good amenities. The spot on the lake is beautiful. We floated off the dock and enjoyed the large porch. The open floor plan was ideal for a group cooking and spending time together. Lastly, host was very organized with quick thorough communication.

This home is absolute perfection. The owners took great care in making sure that the stay was comfortable. Luxe is exactly how I would describe this property. From the personalized note, to the s'mores platter to lake specific teas and coffees. They have thought and prepared for everything! The location is also ideal for paddle boarding and kayaking with easy access to the main lake. We loved it! Can't wait to be back for more!

The house and grounds are well maintained and user friendly. Kitchen is stocked with essential appliances and cookware. Seating available at the kitchen island and the long dining table. Fishing off the dock netted the kids a lot of fun and can-jam was a bigger hit than initially thought (extremely competitive sons and grand kids). All in all we enjoyed our stay at Leeward Bound.

The lake was fantastic. We rented a boat, went fishind and swimming. My whole family enjoyed themselves. We wish the house had a community bathroom, it was awkward with every bathroom inside every bedroom. I did get awaken one time at 1 o clock in the morning with 2 ants in my bed.

Your amenities exceeded our expectations with you providing the thoughtful little things anticipating our needs making our stay even more enjoyable. The beds and furniture were very comfortable and the view was breathtaking and everyone thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We also thank you for granting us a check out extension time. During our stay the Newell family created the perfect ending to our family reunion in Fayetteville NC. Our stay at your lake house offered us an opportunity to create new memories with 3 generations of our family and we highly recommend it to anyone wanting to experience Lake Gaston at the Leeward Lake House.

This property was fantastic. Everything you could want for lake vacation. We loved the big dining table,everyone could actually eat together. The kids loved the bunk room. Loved having the 2 refrigerated! Of course the view was simply amazing! And Rebecca was wonderful to deal with. Couldn’t’ beat it!
