The apartment is spacious and pristine, and very well-appointed. Josh and his wife are extremely kind, responsive, and generous hosts.Cool place, cool people.

Stayed here with family. We loved the beds — we all slept well! The whole place was attractively furnished and thoughtfully appointed.The only downside was that the neighborhood felt a little rough. That said, we didn’t leave anything in the car, and we had no problems. Thought this was a good deal for Oakland.

This was a perfect spot for us. We were in town on business and the central location and spacious lodging was great. There was no issue with street parking and the neighborhood was calm and quiet. The beds were super comfy and the kitchen great for eating in. We would stay again.

We wanted something close to UC Berkeley for dropping off a freshman grandson. Everyone wanted to come so this place had plenty of space for all of us. It was clean and comfortable. It’s located on a nice enough street that felt safe. Easy drive to the college We’d come back.

My friends and I came down for a wedding and had an excellent time at the house. The place was clean, comfy, surprisingly spacious, and the back patio was a dream! Check-in was effortless, and the amenities were terrific. The neighborhood was nice and quiet, but there wasn't a lot to do within walking distance. The city and other neighborhoods are a short drive or cab ride away, though. Overall, I highly recommend it!

We had a great time. We especially loved the outdoor area.

Decor on point. Absolutely my esthetic Beds comfortable, pillows numerous, bath towels plentiful and tastefully displayed Loved all the artwork too. My only suggestions would be a light on the house numbers for night check in and a warning to those over 5'10 when getting into thw shower. The beautiful doors are head hieght I would also like to say that if you have any issues with the neighborhood, that is something between you and your soul.

This worked well for our family of 6. The beds were all very comfortable and they had plenty of towels. We had more space than we could have afforded in San Francisco. We did have to street park. But, we were always able to find spots within a block of the home. The neighbors were friendly and it was an easy commute across the bay bridge to site seeing locations. I do want to warn that even though Jack London Square is a cute and up and coming area not far from this home, our rental car was broken into during brunch in this area. Do not leave any valuables in your car. This is true throughout the greater San Fran area. Rental cars are targeted, it seems. That being said, we had no issues in the home neighborhood itself. I would recommend this home for someone needing more space.

I rented the house for out of town guests for my 60th birthday weekend. We loved being able to have breakfast together with just a few family and friends after the big party the day before. Comfortable inside while it rained outside. I live in Oakland, and I won’t hesitate to go here again when I have family from out of town visit

Start by saying that Josh and Akos were everything you want in a host. Kind, very responsive, and non-existent while we were at the property . The house was like a newly renovated hotel. Everyone was blown away by how comfortable the beds were and how soft the sheets. Tons of towels. Perfect place for a big group of friends in west Oakland area
