A short 90 minutes from NYC, 30 minutes from New Paltz or Woodstock, and 50 minutes to ski slopes. Just 11 miles from Minnewaska & Mountain Climbing. Private chefs, food stocking & spa services available by request. The house rules must be agreed upon when booking.
The space
Hello,we are very excited you are considering renting your very own retreat in the country! PLEASE SEND US A NOTE (inquiry) letting us know your plans in the area BEFORE requesting to book. This way we can see if the house will work for your dates/group without having to potentially decline. We truly appreciate it!

This is a chemical free home. It was built with essential oils in all of the foundation, paint, and polyurethane. Only chemical free products are used to clean the home and launder the sheets and towels. The entire area around and within the main house is mitigated for any EMF's. WIFI on site via a hot spot. Cellular service is fine.

The main house: 5 bedrooms, 2 full baths (with jacuzzi tubs) 2 half baths, a large hot tub and salt water pool with waterfalls, and a water slide (open mid June-September). The hot tub is open year round. Always confirm pool and hot tub in case of repairs.

PETS
We are pet friendly BUT do not allow pets on the property without prior approval. If a pet is approved it will be subject to an extra fee and security deposit and must be well trained and cleaned up after.

PARTIES & SPECIAL EVENTS
This is not a house for private parties, gatherings, or special events during your stay. However, special events such as weddings etc may be booked by contacting the host. If you would like to experience healing sessions, spa services, private chefs, yoga instructors or other experiences while at the property, please reach out to the host for booking and approval. These arr an additional cost

We have partnered with a local award-winning restaurant, Aroma Thyme Bistro. They offer pre-stocked foods for you to cook or fully cooked meals waiting for you in the fridge when you arrive. From breakfast items, marinated grass-fed steaks, Wild Salmon, snacks, local cheeses, charcuterie to fully catered meals and events. Reach out for their contact info.

THE MAIN HOUSE
We ask that you remove your shoes upon entering the home. You feet will be warmed gently by the radiant heat in all the floors, even the bathrooms!
The main house: 5 bedrooms, 2 full baths (with jacuzzi tubs) 2 half baths, a large hot tub and salt water pool with waterfalls, and a water slide (open mid June-September). The hot tub has been open year round but check for repairs to confirm.

MASTER SUITE
The Master Suite features a King sized bed, private deck (currently closed for repairs) with breathtaking views of Mohonk, the pastures, barns, pool and ponds below. The European style private master bathroom with Mohonk views, has a champagne bubble jetted hot tub-style bath and separate extra large steam shower with rain shower and wall jets, and bidet.

BEDROOM 1
There is a room off the bedroom that has a full size futon bed and a twin bed. It is separated from the master by sliding doors. Great for a second couple, an individual or kids that need to sleep closer to their parents.

BEDROOM 2
A large fun room with a balcony and ceiling fan housing a queen size bed.

BEDROOM 3
A super spacious bedroom for two with views of the front lawns and side mountain. Tons of closet space. The beds can be pushed together to create a King size bed when requested.

BEDROOM 4
The spacious bunk bed room sleeps 4. Perfect for a group of friends on a getaway or kids/cousins! The room has incredible views and pull down darkening shades with tons of closet space.

UPSTAIRS FULL BATH
Two Sinks with separate mirrors make it easy for you to get in and out of the bathroom. The Jacuzzi tub rests underneath a lovely shower with both a shower head and removable shower handle.

LIBRARY
A beautiful stone fireplace adorns this room. A large flat panel screen TV screen is available to watch your. Bring your own HDMI cables and hook up whatever you want to the screen. It is adjacent to a half bathroom and houses a huge sofa which is easy to sleep on.

SUNROOM
With large windows and views the sunroom with a wet bar is another eating area for a family or group or can be used as another break out room for groups and retreats.

MAIN LIVING ROOM
The two story living room sits in the middle of the home with an open floor plan. The centerpiece, a Rumford fireplace, adds a cozy atmosphere and even more warmth to the home. The living room looks out over the pool and the mountains and the sunrise in the morning is SPECTACULAR!

FORMAL DINING ROOM
The Dining room is adjacent to the living room. While dining enjoy views of the fireplace and the mountains and the pool. The table seats 10 adults.

TREATMENT ROOM/DESK SPACE
We invite you to enjoy a host of treatments at an additional cost while you are visiting without leaving the home. Again, only chemical free clean and healthy products are used during the treatments. Any treatments MUST be booked through the host.

KITCHEN
The custom cherry cabinets, soapstone counters, huge pantry and high end appliances make this space a chefs dream. Cook together around the large island or just relax with views of Mohonk while others cook. LOTS of storage space.

OUTDOORS
Go for a hike, snow shoeing or cross country skiing in the woods, There are two ponds on the property, one is great for fishing. The other pond is fun for swimming and small boats. Always beware of wild animals when out and about.
Guest access
You will have access to the main house on the property, the fishing pond, and all of the hiking trails. The other areas of the property may be available under separate booking. The barns and other homes are not part of your access.
Other things to note
Remember you are in the forest here. It is normal to hear coyotes and owls at night. Be mindful of all the critters that are around in the wild such as bears, snakes, coyotes, deer, turkeys geese, mice etc. There are snakes that trail through the area. If you see one move away from it and contact me immediately. Do not leave doors open as animals may enter the premises. Welcome to the country!!!
