Lucky Enough – Pets Welcome, Ocean Views Included

That an amazing place! The decks are wonderful and the view from inside the house is perfect. We stayed over Thanksgiving and brought a LOT of cooking supplies since we've all stayed in rentals before but we really only needed the turkey roaster! This is the best stocked kitchen I've ever seen in a rental. It was also really nice to have open shelves in the pantry and one whole open cabinet for storing out food. Perfect for a big family gathering. The living area was also comfortable and the deck off the living room level was great. The beach here is just stunning and you just walk right out! The house is also located near anything you might need in Surf City. We really appreciate dog-friendly properties and try to be very respectful so we bring sheets to cover all the furniture. This house a bin with 2 covers but only one really fits so bring your sheets for the dogs! One of my sisters was so impressed with the house and the layout that she booked it for a week in the summer for her family. We will definitely come back if we are Lucky Enough! Thank you!

We enjoyed staying at Lucky Enough. The access to the beach was the draw for us and did not disappoint. The house was well-equipped with everything we needed. We were disappointed that the vacuum was broken and couldn’t be turned to the bare floor setting which made cleaning up sand that made it in the house (despite our vigilance) much more difficult to clean. In addition, the broom on the main bedroom level is split and not functional and the other broom is very old and needs to replaced.

The property is great! The kitchen is well appointed, there are two grills: charcoal and gas, and there are beach chairs and umbrellas too. We had a wonderful vacation!

This house had everything we thought we were getting and more. The kitchen was well furnished, the bedrooms were well taken care of and the living spaces were clean and family friendly. The extras provided were a nice surprise, especially when toting dogs along for the vacation. The covered deck provides a perfect view of the beach and the lower party deck left a good space for our dogs to play. The gates provided also helped us feel secure enough to let our dogs roam all levels of the decks. Thank you for such a great time!

Beautiful beach, spacious home, very nice outdoor spaces, well- stocked kitchen. We enjoyed our time at Narnia and would love to stay there again.

This home is almost perfect! If the owner will address a few things, it will be perfect. One of the ocean front bedroom sliding doors needs to be fixed so it will open more than 6 inches, and it needs a new handle. The cleaning crew needs to be talked to about cleaning the floors. They were very sandy! I understand it’s a beach home, but the floors should not be sandy from day 1, especially the bedrooms. I would like to suggest a privacy screen on the upper deck. The duplex next door is very close and a privacy screen or shade would make a huge difference. Here’s what makes this house great! The floor plan is awesome! The kitchen is well equipped and huge, which is great because everyone always ends up in the kitchen. The living room had plenty of comfortable seating, and there’s even a great selection of books to read. The dining area is perfect! There is a huge dining table, plenty of knives, forks, spoons and serve ware. The bedrooms are big! The elevator is a huge plus when unloading and loading your cars. There is ample parking, and a sweet little sand play area that’s shaded under the house. There are 2 ocean side BIG covered porches with ample seating and there’s a picnic table on the top one too. We all sat on this one every morning and had our coffee. The ocean front sun deck is huge and it also has seating and a picnic table. Some of the chairs were cracked, but still stable. It’s very pet friendly. Both exits from the deck to the beach are gated. Being the first time we had rented this house, we brought our own dog bowls and furniture covers, but the home owner provides those as well. There are 2 covered porches so your dog can be outside with you, but have shade. We loved this house and would definitely rent it again.
