Stayed Sep 23, 2022We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property. The house had all the amenities and comforts of home and is very conveniently located to all, especially to Chautauqua park and trails. The host was extremely gracious and very easy to communicate with. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Stayed Oct 12, 2021This property was fantastic. Everything was handled so smoothly and the property itself was great. It is well provisioned and super comfortable. We were there for several months and there was never a problem or issue. The location is very convenient to CU and to Downtown Boulder as well as South Boulder and the Baseline corridor. The hosts are wonderful and easy to work with. We highly recommend this property for either short or long term.

Stayed Jul 1, 2021This was a beautiful home that had everything we wanted for a two month stay. It is well located and accessible to anywhere you want to go in Boulder. Everything in the house is first rate. The owner is great. She was very responsive if there were any issues to be resolved. We enjoyed our stay and we are planning to stay there again when we return to Boulder.

Stayed Apr 30, 2021Joel and I adored this sweet little house in Boulder. We are avid hikers, so the location was perfect for us. On many days we walked from the house up to the Chatauqua area where we hiked a variety of trails near the Flatirons. We were also able to explore the Nederland area, which is only 30 minutes away. Finally, we did some amazing hikes in Rocky Mountain National Park, about 90 minutes away. We also enjoyed a variety of bicycle trails that were not far from the house. And each day when we returned to this house, we benefited from cooking wonderful meals in the beautiful kitchen. The house was fully stocked with everything we needed, and then some. We were extremely comfortable during our one month stay, and only wished we could have stayed longer. Jana

Stayed Jun 4, 2020We had an extended stay here for 4 months this summer, and enjoyed it all! From the beginning, Kathleen was very communicative and friendly, and immediately helpful if we had questions or any issues. The home has a great sense of space, with open concept, large kitchen and good lighting. The kitchen is very well stocked with spices, vinegars and oil, and some basic pantry items like sugar and flour. We used some staples and also left some staples, to share with future guests. The cookware is the best I've seen in any VRBO, with non-stick pots and pans and a cast iron skillet for those times when you don't go out to eat or get take out, and there are lots of fun coffee mugs and even margarita glasses. There's a blender too! We rarely ate at the dining table, because we were usually enjoying the great backyard patio, where we grilled frequently. The garage came in very handy to store some of our play things like bikes, fishing gear, and hiking gear. You can either park in the garage or along side it on the parking pad. Returning back inside the home, the living space is comfortable with a great gas fireplace to add ambiance and warmth for those chilly days! The master bed is VERY comfortable, and the master bath and shower are FABULOUS! You basically just want to stand under the waterfall forever, especially after a long hike or day of fishing. It wasn't cold enough during our stay to think of using the heated floors in the master bath, but I'm sure it's amazing! The neighborhood is definitely safe, easily walkable, and just a few short blocks to get up to Chautauqua trailheads for a hike or to eat at their great restaurant. The location is the best in Boulder! I would highly recommend this home for any of your vacation needs. You will love it! Hopefully we'll be able to return again soon!

Stayed Jan 30, 2020This house is perfect. Tucked away in a walking neighborhood, with easy access to Flat Iron hiking and the university. The house is located on a quiet street, hardly any traffic, the kitchen is beautifully appointed, everything you could need for cooking, a large living room with fireplace, and a private sunny backyard. Good sized garage too! The master bedroom is private and comfortable and the master bathroom and shower are to die for. We are academics and stayed there for our sabbatical. It was the best. We walked to the university and took hikes every afternoon in the hills out the backdoor! What more could you ask for?! Can't say enough positive things about the property and the house. It is kept clean and in mint condition. Kathleen is on top of everything and so very welcoming.

Stayed Dec 24, 2019From beginning to end this was an ideal experience! The charming home was exactly as advertised in every way and more. It was impeccably clean, well appointed with every convenience. The location was perfectly situated between the Flatirons and the CU campus. My communications with the owner, Kathleen, were timely and wonderfully accommodating. I definitely plan to stay here again!

Stayed Jun 11, 2019Our family had a wonderful summer (June-Aug) living at Kathleen's house in Boulder. The home is beautiful, clean, and well designed. The private backyard and stand-alone garage were a huge plus for us. We walked to the Kohler Mesa Trail and to Chautauqua for hikes and trail runs. The SKIP bus is about a 7 minute walk down the street and I took it regularly to work in South Boulder and to downtown Pearl Street/Boulder Creek Trail. The kitchen is very well-stocked with utensils, cookware, and place settings and the pantry had a number of staples already available. The master bed is very comfortable, and the trundle bed in the guest room came in handy when guests came to visit one weekend. The tree-lined neighborhood is very quiet and safe and every neighbor we met was super friendly. I highly recommend Kathleen's place for extended stays in Boulder, it's truly like a home away from home. We will definitely stay here again!
