Stayed Oct 23, 2025The grocery store is located right across the street on the next block. The store has items that you can purchase for cooking, but I loved that it also had healthy pre-made food for purchase. There was also a food hall within walking distance. The neighborhood was safe. The home was spacious and clean. My family enjoyed sitting on the front porch the most.

Stayed Dec 4, 2025The hosts were beyond hospitable. They made sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. The house was beautifully well kept and comfy. Location was terrific, with just a little walk to the French Quarter and lovely local restaurants. We couldn't have asked for a better stay.

Stayed Nov 25, 2025The house was comfortable and the hosts are amazing! There are so many restaurants to try so we didn’t really use the kitchen much, but it was nice to enjoy our coffee in the morning. It’s an old charming house with a lot of history! We appreciated being able to use the driveway to park our vehicle instead of parking iton the street.

Stayed Nov 8, 2025We loved our stay! Our hosts were so accommodating and welcoming. The home is historic and comfortable, and it was in a great location for both walking to the French Quarter and enjoying the Marigny neighborhood. I would give our hosts 10 stars if I could!

Stayed Oct 8, 2025We had a wonderful visit to New Orleans, staying in Carl and Darric’s beautiful, historic home. The location was fantastic - in a quiet neighborhood just a short walk to the jazz clubs on Frenchmen Street and across the street from a fantastic grocery store. Darric greeted us and gave us a fabulous overview of the history of the neighborhood and the historic home - a grand space with high ceilings and large rooms, very comfortable beds, and an area to lounge in for downtime. The hospitality of the owners, the neighborhood, and the location make it a great place to stay during a trip to the city.

Stayed Oct 17, 2025Excellent hosting by the owners who welcomed us to the property with a friendly tour. The house was cool and clean with great character. Beds were comfortable with plenty of room for everyone. We spent lots of time on the shady front porch. The location was the highlight with a grocery store less than a block away and a quick walk to the bus station and jazz clubs on Frenchmen. Would definitely stay again

Stayed May 22, 2025We are so grateful that Carl could accommodated us on relatively short notice. We arrived late, and his partner Darric met us for a brief home history & house walk through. The house is kitty-corner from the grocery store and walkable to everything! It was super quiet and we felt entirely safe walking the neighborhood and to/from our family's home a few blocks away. We had an event at the Hotel Peter-Paul, two doors down and the house is perfectly located for that. The beds are comfortable, the AC is strong, and the home is far more spacious than the pictures convey. We would absolutely stay again. Also -- take them up on the offer to visit the MardiGras Museum -- it was a total hit with our family!

Stayed Apr 3, 2025One of the best vacation rental experiences we've ever had. Darric let us check in early, met us and showed us around upon arrival, and let us stay past check-out until we needed to leave for the airport. The house was centrally located, beautiful, and clean. Thank you!

Stayed Mar 17, 2025Carl's house was the perfect getaway for our stay in New Orleans. This wonderful house was a quick walk from the French Quarter with easy access to a grocery store and local restaurants. We loved sitting on the porch in the evening when not out experiencing the town. We also visited his Mardi Gras museum and had a great time. Our only regret was that it didnt last longer.
