Lovely Lake Superior Waterfront Townhome, Tofte, North Shore of MN.

This condo was in a wonderful location overlooking the water with amazing sunrise views. We loved being able to walk around the property and also along the bike trail. Fireplace downstairs was a welcoming location to sit after a day of snowshoeing. Host did a great job of communicating before and during our stay. We hope to be back to enjoy a different season!

Clean, welcoming, and amazing view!

We can up for a ski trip to Lutsen and decided to give this place a try. It worked out great! Only 8 min from the hill. The property was very clean, with fully equipped kitchen which we loved. Check in process was a breeze. Perfect for 4 guests. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets! Going to miss the views!

Location is fantastic for getting out and enjoying all the North Shore has to offer. Morning sunrises were a definite highlight.

Location was perfect to relax and travel to tourist

4 adults cannot sleep comfortably. The alcove bed has no privacy and is against a wall, making it difficult for one person to get out. The sofa bed is terrible. It desperately needs a better mattress. The stovetop is difficult. Maybe it’s induction. If so, the pots and pans should all be induction.

We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it. Great location and dog friendly. Nikki was very responsive. One suggestion, remove the tree/bush it obstructs the view from the lowest level and deck area.

Condo well stocked with TP, paper towels, hand soap, garbage bags ect.Location and cleanliness was excellent Only negative was the pull out couch was not comfortable at all for an adult and the furniture in the living area is tired.

Beautiful spot very nice place to stay

Location was great especially with the bike path so handy and host was very accommodating with questions. Would have liked more comfortable seating in kitchen area and a chair in the main bedroom for getting ready in the AM. Kitchen was equipped with everything needed.

This place was perfect for the weekend! Stayed here for the Moose Mountain Marathon and it was 10 minutes from the start line and 12 minutes from the finish - perfect in between! The communication was great, check-in was easy and they even had Mexican Train dominos - a family favorite!

Love the Lake! It's great waking up and seeing Lake Superior right outside. The home is comfortable and well equipped. The location gives access to all of what the North Shore has to offer.

The Townhome at Tofty is a very cozy home away from home! The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had all that was needed for basic meals, and the living room was laid out well for movies or games or just for hanging out. Of course, the views of the lake were fantastic! Nikki and Todd were very helpful and responded very quickly when we messaged them. We had some personal health issues which resulted in a change of our plans and we were very grateful for the help and accommodations they made for us! I recommend this home without hesitation!

This place looked great online, but when we arrived, it exceeded expectations. It is so cozy and the kitchen had everything we needed, great view, great location. We thought we left something behind and heard back very promptly from Nikki. Would definitely return!

This was the perfect location for our north shore stay. Easy drives to places up and down Lake Superior.

The property was very clean (cleaner than most rentals we have had over the years) and the kitchen was well appointed. The view from the bedroom was lovely. The property is reasonably priced and I felt it was a good value for what we got. The beach area was great, especially for adults or kids who love to rock hunt as it is a rock beach. I purchased a lake superior rock book in Grand Marias and my daughter had a great time identifying rocks. I love getting my steps in so I did not mind all of the stairs to get down to it, but that may be difficult for small children or older folks. It was enough space for our family of four but the basement pullout bed our son slept in could use an upgrade. The loft bed was very nice. Noise through the wall from the adjoining unit was a bit bothersome at times, but that comes with a condo or townhouse stay. A second TV in the bedroom would be a good addition for rainy days when you are stuck in the house all day, we had a few of those. There were four of us and we were provided with exactly four bath towels, having had a couple more would have been nice as a woman with long hair to have another towel to wrap my hair with after showering. The bedroom pillows were exceedingly thick/firm which hurt my neck to sleep on but I usually sleep on a flat pillow. All and all it was a nice stay and whomever they use to turnover the unit is doing a wonderful job it really was spotless which I greatly appreciate in a rental.

Beautiful townhome with a lovely view of the great lake. Easy access to everything we enjoy. Hiking, biking, rock hunting and shopping in Grand Marais.

We loved the condo and felt the description adequately represented the unit. The host was communicative and entry was seamless. The main bed was comfortable and had nice bedding. We wished it was a King, but the Queen was fine. The unit was well equipped and included enough laundry soap, paper towerls, and tp - which is unexpected and nice. There was also a few spices, coffee filters, and coffee. As others have said, the bedrooms, kitchen, and livingroom are on different levels so I would not recommend if steps are a challenge. There are also 95 steps down to beach area but it is well worth the effort as the beach is private and gorgeous. The unit is 3 miles from Tofte and there are some restaurants and a grocery store there. It is also right on the bike trail. Overall, we loved the unit and would definitely return.

I stayed here while doing the Lutsen 99r mountain bike race. It's in a perfect location. The condo is beautiful, with an awesome view of Lake Superior. I could have stayed there for weeks, but I only stayed for two days. Will definitely stay again.

The place was clean and has a great view of the lake. Great multi level space. Small hiccup with the access key but the owner was quick to respond and fix the issue. Would stay again.

Our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children) stayed at this property from July 21-25 this year. The view of Lake Superior from the unit was spectacular! Bathrooms were well stocked, and the full kitchen was nice for family meals. We really enjoyed the private beach access and had fun rock hounding in the lake. State parks are nearby, as well as Grand Marais (lovely little town!).

Mom and Dad liked the large, comfortable master suite. The kids liked having their own space, and the dog was just glad we didn't have to leave him behind! Close access to everything we wanted to do. Well-equipped kitchen made cooking meals easy. Great place for our little family's annual fall trip to the North Shore!

Stayed 3 nights for MEA. Close to a bunch of great hikes and spent a few hours at the private beach finding agates.

I’ve stayed here twice and it continues to be perfect for visiting the North Shore area. Its location is close to Lutsen and Tofte, the bike trail is steps away, it’s VERY clean, right on Lake Superior with amazing views, and a kitchen that has everything you need to make meals. We are so comfortable here and being so close to hiking trails and the shoreline make it very peaceful. It’s well priced for the area and pet friendly. We will continue to come back!

The view was gorgeous and communication with the host was great. The space seems a little small for the price, but it was very clean and well set up. The stairs down to the lake were very close! Thank you!

Very clean and well-appointed unit with lovely lake views. Linda was great to work with. Only suggestion we'd make is put a king-sized bed in the master bedroom.

This townhome exceeded all of our expectations! It was clean, the views were stunning, and it was close to everything we wanted to do during our weekend away. Waking up to the sun rising over Lake Superior every morning was, hands down, my favorite part. We already can’t wait to stay here again next year!
