Stayed Oct 1, 2025We opened the door to the most incredible view & very welcoming home. The host had a nice basket of area treats for our stay. Ample cozy seating arrangements inside & out to enjoy family chats or listening to the sounds of the lake. The home has a nice collection of original art from local artists. The kitchen was stocked with everything needed to enjoy your stay. The lakeside fire pit was one of our favorite features, the home is in a private setting. While we didn’t travel with children we appreciated how family ready the house was high chair, pack & play, stroller, toys & baby gates. Lots of games, puzzles & even a mini arcade. The host was very quick to respond to messages & provided a notebook with emergency numbers, house rules, recommendations for dining, hiking & things to do. A basket of area travel books was helpful as well. You will not be disappointed, we can’t wait to return with our family!

Stayed Sep 3, 2025The hosts were really wonderful and very accommodating. They also responded to messages super fast! The house itself had so much warmth and the views were as beautiful as the pictures. The whole stay was also very kid friendly- lots of toys and games and space to have fun. Would 100% recommend!

Stayed Aug 21, 2025This was a beautiful place and you couldn't have a better view. We couldn't figure out the TV sets. There weren't any instructions. Kitchen was great. We had to look hard to find enough towels for all 12 of us. The labels on all of the doors and closets were helpful. Also, it would be helpful to know that we needed to bring our own wood for the fire pit.We would recommend it.

Stayed Jun 11, 2025Three Points Lodge was absolutely perfect for our Annual Family Reunion on the North Shore. It was our second time at the lodge in 3 years! It is spacious, has a wonderful kitchen for our son the chef, has all the kitchen utensils you’ll ever need, has a lovely TV area for movies and a dozen places to curl up with a book… and the Boyers leave a lovely welcoming basket of Fika Coffee, North Shore Winery red wine and maple syrup! The beds are all comfortable and plenty for our crew, with two pack ‘n plays, in addition. The lodge provided gorgeous sunny and cool weather all week, and a glorious storm Monday night. It is the perfect location for access to Split Rock, Tettegouche, Schroeder and Temperance to the south… and Cascade, Thomsonite/Cut Face Creek, Carlton Lake, Grand Marais, and Grand Portage to the north…. All which at least some of our crew took in with such great weather! I believe we will reserve Three Points again next year if we can gather all the troops. We did mention a need for a couple of minor repairs to the crank mechanisms on windows and a request for a few more kitchen towels, wash clothes and a towel bar next to the sink. We loved our stay! Stayed May 7, 2025Three Points Lodge was the perfect place for our reunion. The layout of the house provided ample space for us to gather and enjoy wonderful conversation. We loved the deck and the fire pit was perfect on our last night, making s'mores and enjoying the night sky. We all enjoyed having our own beds too! The location was also convenient to hiking, Lutsen Mountain and Grand Marais. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us; we all had a fabulous time!

Stayed Jan 17, 2025Over all the property was exactly as expected. Very comfortable beds and furniture. The kitchen is wonderful and very well equipped. The arcade games were a big hit with the kids. Our only complaint is that the lower level and the two main floor bedrooms were very cold. Some rooms only reaching around 60 degrees, sometimes only in the 50’s. Super cold weekend so maybe.this is to be expected. Maybe some space heaters?? Overall we loved the house!

Stayed Dec 26, 2024This house was amazing for our large multifamily group. What made it amazing is the large number of rooms and beds, a great kitchen for cooking that can accommodate more than one person helping. A wonderful pool area and game area. Best of all each family had one of the upstairs suites with its own bathoom. This way each family had its own private bath. There were also multiple bed in each room- super rare in VRBO's so the young adult kids could stay with the parents upstairs OR in their own rooms downstairs. We will be visiting the area 3 times each winter and plan on staying here each time.

Stayed Jul 21, 2024We enjoyed the location, the remarkable kitchen, good communication, and the views. We had three issues. 1. Asking your guest to wash, dry, and put away all dishes before leaving is a bit tacky for a high priced VRBO. Having the dishes in the dishwasher and running it is reasonable. 2. Put detailed instructions in the binder on how to operate the heating and cooling system. 3. Better lighting in living area. All the light goes up. None of these issues would prevent us from renting again.

Stayed Jul 15, 2024Excellent layout for togetherness and quiet moments too. The place was even nicer than the pictures suggested. Great views of Lake Superior, easy access to rocky shore. Kids had fun learning to skip rocks, fire pit great way to end the day. Kitchen was well appointed with plenty of cookware and place settings for handling a large group. Wish we could have stayed longer. Hosts were very prompt and courteous with any questions we had after booking.

Stayed Jul 11, 2024This location was perfect for our large family gathering celebrating my mother’s 60th birthday. Right on Lake Superior and close to so many great attractions and activities. We golfed, hiked, fished, shopped, had a camp fire and rode a gondola over Lutsen Mountain. All within 30 minutes of this beautiful property.
