Lovely Home Surrounded by Beautiful Gardens

A splendid place for a couple or family. Everything you need is there, including shared gardens to stroll. The upstairs is air conditioned, the kitchen is quite capable and the patio is heavenly in the mornings and the evenings. There is some slight wear and tear, and the whole island has an ant problem, but unless that pea under your mattress is a problem, I cannot imagine that you can do better than here.

Our family loved this house — it worked perfectly for us! Everything was clean and tidy and as described. The kitchen was well stocked. The A/C units worked very well and cooled the bedrooms off quickly. Nice hot water in the showers! Tatjana was very responsive and quick to assist with all our inquires and needs. We felt lucky to be staying here and I would recommend this stay to anyone looking to visit Santa Cruz!

Tatjana was great to deal with. She was quick to help with any of our questions and tiny issues with our stay. She went over and above and we really appreciated her help with taxis and other questions about the area. The house was clean, large, easy to walk to the main streets in town and all very safe. Thank you Tatjana for making our stay comfortable and easy.

This property is a wonderful place to make your home base when visiting the beautiful Santa Cruz Island in Galapagos. The hosts were very helpful, very communicative, and really did everything they could to make us comfortable in the home. When we had an issue with the Wifi and the coffee maker, they were responsive within minutes and resolved the issues. They were very willing to share their expertise about the area and the tours available, and even hooked us up with their favorite cab driver to go out to the Highlands one of the days we were there. The property is about 1.5 mile walk to beautiful Tortuga Bay beach and it is walking distance to all of the restaurants etc in Puerto Ayora. I highly recommend the property!

Great place! We were able to walk everywhere from the location. Tortuga Bay walking trail was so close. The private courtyard was a bonus. We enjoyed coffee and breakfast every morning on the patio. If we ever go back to Galapagos, we would definitely stay here again. Thank you for the wonderful experience!

Casa Tortuga was the perfect home for us during our stay. Clean, comfortable and roomy! Location is far enough from town to be quiet, yet close enough that we walked to town several times per day. Hostess was very helpful arranging transportation, and extra cleaning during our stay. Would love to stay here again!

Great place! We have stayed here 3 times now and will return again soon! Location is close to everything but far enough away to be quiet at night. LOVE that there is a washer and dryer on site! Gorgeous gardens and comfortable beds with AC

This is our second visit to PA and the second time we stayed at this location. It is a perfect oasis! Surrounded by a beautiful garden with amazing flowers and birds and protected by high fence and private gated entrance. The house itself is beautifully decorated, comfortable beds, great AC, washer and dryer, and quiet!! The hosts are sooooo nice and want to make your visit the best!!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The apartment is easily accessible to everything in town, just a simple, short walk that even us seniors managed with no problem. We ate our breakfasts and some lunches here, finding the markets as Tatjania described in the welcome booklet and map. The bed was very comfy, and the a/c divine! The garden area very island-native flowering bushes, and the outdoor porch just so very nice! We greatly appreciated the use of the washer,/dryer! Thank you for a great and memorable stay in Puerto Ayora!
