Welcome to your Smoky Mountain paradise. Nestled deep in the foothills, our Land of Falls properties offer unparalleled access to Southern Appalachia's best. We're a little bit off the beaten path, but the towns of Waynesville & Canton are located about 10 miles from the home and have many breweries, shops, restaurants and grocery stores for your convenience.
Some will simply want to wake up, sit and look at the unending view of the Smoky Mountains, while others will slip on their Keens and walk forever in the day through an almost enchanted forest with rim top views of the deep Lake Logan Canyon.
This part of North Carolina is absolutely packed with natural wonders. We named the property Land of Falls because of its proximity to hundreds of breathtaking waterfalls. And just a stone's throw away are the hiking trails of Cold Mountain, Fork Mountain, Buckeye Ridge, and Chimney Rock State Park. Just a few miles south, you'll find Looking Glass Falls and Sliding Rock, 60-foot natural water slide that feeds into a forested swimming hole.
The property is situated just over picturesque Lake Logan. The lake is privately owned and was long closed to the public, but day passes are now available for purchase online or from the Visitor Center to swim, fish, hike, and picnic. Boats are also available for use on the lake.
You're just 10 miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway and Pisgah National Forest. Following the parkway will take you to the south entrance of Great Smoky Mountain National Park in under an hour. Experience fantastic wildlife and breathtaking views, hike part of the Appalachian Trail or make the trek up to Clingmans Dome, the Park's highest peak.
After you visit the Park, don't miss the towns of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Get your thrills at America's friendliest theme park–Dollywood, visit the Titanic Museum, Ripley's Believe it or Not, or take in one of their famous dinner shows.
For car and motorcycle enthusiasts, the area is home to hundreds more miles of scenic winding mountain roads, including the Tail of The Dragon, where thousands of drivers flock each year to test their skills against 318 hairpin turns in the 11-mile stretch of road.
If a night out on the town is calling your name, you're only 40 minutes from Downtown Asheville. The city has won countless travel awards and was recently named Yelp's #1 city for foodies. Enjoy a cold local brew at one of the 30+ breweries. Shop for the finest local produce at WNC Farmers Market. Spend the day getting lost in the sprawling gardens of the Biltmore Estate. Enjoy a casual meal at White Duck Tacos or have an upscale night out at 2022 James Beard Award-winning restaurants Chia Pani and Cúrate.

This was a beautiful property. Surround views and excellent facilities made our stay wonderful.
We really enjoyed the stay at the cabin. Specifics and feedback. The hot tub was large and comfortable and clean. The deck was great and so was the fire pit. We loved the games and videos that were available! There were several excellent hikes within 15 minutes of the cabin on Lake Logan Dr. There was plenty of closet, space, shampoo and conditioner, and soap Things I would change: we weren’t able to use the fireplace because of the smell of gas when it was lit. We learned this the first night, and the service person came out immediately to support us . when we turned it on while he was there it didn’t smell very much and he checked, and there was a full tank of gas. Unfortunately, though when we tried again the smell returned, so we just left it off and this was sort of sad. I would recommend to place a rubber floor mat in the bath tubs as it’s very slippery. I felt I may fall. We recommend to beef up some of the kitchen items, cooking items, such as measuring, spoons, cups, and an improved coffee pot. The Internet was spotty. Also, I would label which light switches light what room. I had to spend a lot of time turning lights switch switch is on and off! Overall, it was a very nice day and a very nice cabin. The location was great thank you!
The stay was pleasant. The view was good from the hot tub and gazebo. Check-in was easy.
The house was great...clean and all provided necessary items for great convenience. However, hot tub was smaller than the one in the picture and no grill as stated in the ad. Didnt like that we were charged extra for people over 4...that wasn't advertised. Also had issues with gate code working. Other than that, it was a great stay and really clean and comfortable.
