My trip was cut very short due to my son's nanny testing positive for Covid, but for the 12 hours we were there, the treehouse was a lovely little getaway. The property was fairly secluded, and if you are a golf lover, you will be in heaven. This is a minimalistic property, so you need to bring shampoo, conditioner, etc and anything you need for the kitchen like plates, napkins, utensils, etc. Hollie was a dream to work with, and made the check-in/check-out process a breeze. She even mailed me a laptop that we mistakingly left in our rush to get home. We will definitely go back!
The property was great. It was very clean and you could tell still very new. Our kids loved that it was a “treehouse”. It was right in the middle of Asheville and great hiking near the national forest and Blue Ridge Parkway. Make sure you do a search of nearby eating - there are a couple of towns about 20 minutes away. The kitchen area has a mini fridge (no freezer), microwave, and coffee maker. This wasn’t an issue, but we prepared in advance. It is a great stay - highly recommend!
Great stay, host was super responsive and flexible. Place was super clean. Only down sides (if you can even call them that :) are that the parking lot is a few hundred feet from the housing (not a big deal- we just had lots of rain that week) and the town is about a 20 minute drive to dining/grocery1 no big deal. Definitely recommend, and we’d go back in summer for golf too!
