Los Cocos Holbox - Charming Cabana on the Beach

First of all, Holbox is such a small, friendly, cozy island where you quickly meet friends, humans and dogs. There are restaurants and bars everywhere you look, including many on the beach. Los Cocos is such a charming little cabana perfect for couples. It is literally right on the beach and you can hear the ocean from inside. The yard is pristine and nicely shaded, and the cabana is cleaned daily (except Sundays). There’s even an outdoor shower that has an entrance directly into the bathroom so you can keep the sand out. And you are 0.2 miles from everything in town, so you can be anywhere in only a few minutes. Delphine coordinated our shuttle, ferry, and taxi from Cancun airport both ways and it was seamless. She can also coordinate a private flight if you prefer. Jony was on duty when we stayed and he was there to greet us with the keys on arrival. He showed us lots of great recommendations on our map and was available at any hour to answer any questions. He even booked massages for us in the cabana one afternoon. We cannot say enough great things about Los Cocos and Holbox as a whole. We are already picking dates for a return trip in a few months!

Secluded and private. The seagrass, which is being relocated at the adjacent lot brought in unpleasant smells - needs to be cleaned up. There are minor fixes need attention. Overall, we loved our stay. The super host was excellent on all levels!

This is a cozy, quiet ,peaceful place on the ocean . 36ft from back door to water on your toes , Unusual to have something this pleasant. Best place to stay to be close to holbox beaches and town

We love to cook. The kitchen could use a little more equipment. Frying pan storage containers etc. Otherwise it was excellent.

It was our second visit to Los Cocos and I’m sure it won’t be our last! Perfect location for the famous Holbox Sunsets yet walking distance to everything. Jony, the property manager, always does his best to accommodate!

We had an amazing time at Los Cocos. Rustic but comfortable typical escape that had everything we needed and an incredible yard/ outdoor area on the beach. Perfect for couples or single travelers. Really love the location - even though you are right in the heart of the main town, you still feel like you are in your own private paradise when sitting out on the loungers and watching the waves. Just idyllic. Thank you Jony for hosting us.

Los cocos was an amazing stay. Great location, just as pictured, did have some night life noise , which was anticipated, we’re older , so the earplugs worked. We set out to stay 10 days, but 8 days , we were ready to move on. I would definitely suggest los cocos for a time in Isla Holbox!!!

The house was actually bigger than we expected and the beach was even more beautiful. Jony was a really wonderful host, providing a map of his favorite restaurants and things to do that we used frequently. We tried a new restaurant not on his list and regretted it. Awesome location, awesome house, and awesome host.

We absolutely loved this spot. Being able to walk to town was so convenient and being right on the beach was great. We could easily walk the beach & we were able to pull our chairs out to lay out on the beach. The property was always very well maintained which made afternoon naps outside perfect!
