The first thing you see about the property is the amazing view! The house is modern and comfortable, with everything you need. There was even room for my daughter's (not huge) RV, with water and electric available. Everyone we knew in the wedding party that came by said that we had the best house of all of us! Another advantage is that the Mountain Mart is a couple of hundred yards down the road, which we visited several times. Very convenient. The wifi worked well and the TV had all the channels so the football addicts could get their fix on Saturday and Sunday. It is a very pleasant experience!

Pros: Beautiful view. Loved the porches. Nice & cozy house even better than pictures. Loved having a hot tub. Fireplace. Comfy beds, couch and chairs. Large dining table. Large walk in shower. Rick put up a Christmas tree for us. We were able to checkin an hour early. Close to everything. Plenty of supplies. Would definitely rent again.Cons: Need to have wifi password and downstairs tv code posted, need more lighting on front porch steps, it's hard to see the bottom step coming down. Stairway chair lift is in the way of going up and down to bottom floor.

The view is not just hype, it is truly incredible! We also loved that we were far enough away from town to enjoy the peace and quiet, but still easy to get into Chattanooga to do fun stuff. The BP station just a short walk from the cottage had everything we forgot too, and good pizza.

Didn't get to use hot tub due to rain. All was good, except the coffee pot didn't work (heating element did, but water did not drip into coffee bin). A suggestion is to add a TV in master bedroom.

Everything was nice and me and mom had a great. To cold for the hot tub.

Views were absolutely amazing and it was very close to the amenities and attractions we wanted to see (Ruby Falls and Lookout Mountain, etc). Rick was absolutely awesome and responsive and had a beautiful place that felt like home away from home.

The location is perfect! Centrally located for everything we wanted to do on Lookout Mtn and Chattanooga. But the BEST was sitting out in the screened in porch enjoying morning coffee as the sun woke up the Valley. The in the evening enjoying a nice glass of wine as the sun sets

All was great. Might need a little more cookware. Also a Bluetooth speaker to listen to music would be a nice touch. But those are small things, overall, great place.

The kitchen was lacking in silverware and glasses. The knats in the kitchen and bathrooms were intolerable. Rick did come out to treat them on the 5th day of our 6 day stay. It knocked them down some. The back porch made the location, stunning views. However the AC unit under the porch sounded like a jet engine taking off when running. It was hard to hold a conversation over it. We reported it the first day and send a video to Rick. He confirmed it sounded like it was on its way out. Nothing was done about it. We learned to lower the temp while out sightseeing during the day in hopes it wouldn’t cut on while out back in the evening.

Was very nice stay great view could hear the neighbor pretty early in the morning but not a real problem overall would stay there again

The view is amazing! We did have an issue with gnats, but I believe it was just the time of year as we had them at our house (2hrs away) as well. The decorations and furniture inside was dated but the view outside made up for it. Overall, a good weekend getaway.

Beautiful view , great place to stay.

This location was perfect proximity for all we did in Chattanooga. Quick trip thru the mountain and we were there. Beautiful view and the sunsets!!! Hot tub and screen porch was great addition. Only bad thing was there were lots and lots of knats in the house. I would not let that keep me from returning. The Owner was notified and I would think he would treat the issues. He was very responsive. The place has utilized all the space which is good!

The views from the deck were unmatched! We loved our stay so much. We relaxed on the porch at night and with morning coffee, and the house was so conveniently located to all the Chattanooga activities. Would definitely stay again!

Well equipped kitchen, comfy mattresses, quality sheets & towels. Quiet location.Plenty of toiletries (shampoo,conditioner,shower gel & bar soap). Supplied dish & dishwasher detergent.Well maintained & plenty if comfortable seating. Party of 3 adults visiting family in Chickamauga for ac2-night stay.

Wonderful spot my family enjoyed as we ventured around Lookout Mountain and Chattanooga. Peaceful mornings watching birds and nature off the porch after restful nights in the comfortable beds. Hoping to return here soon.

Nicely decorated home with spectacular views from the rear deck. Listing did not indicate the home was 1/2 of a duplex. There were absolutely no problems with the joined property, but felt thr listing should have mentioned it.The deck and screen porch are showing qear and could have been cleanere.

Amazing position on the brow of Lookout Mountain, with an idyllic terrace overlooking the distant views. Attractive in all weathers. Comfortable, works well, good bird life, responsive host.

I enjoyed my stay, although I had to leave early due to a family emergency. My only complaint was that there was NO hot water when I showered in the master bath. I'm not sure if the hot water heater was out or needed to be adjusted or what. Other than that, it seemed like a great property.

Amazing view. Clean property. Quiet and peaceful.

This has great unobstructed views form lookout mountain . And a great collection of movies, music and books, prefect combination for relaxing and just enjoying time with family. When going out all Chattanooga attractions are still less than 30 mins to get to. House was well stocked with all essential supplies, pots and pans . We enjoyed our stay .

Wonderful to have both upstairs space (main area with access to porches and hot tub), and downstairs space (bedroom, tv,). Great location! Clean. Easy, prompt communication with host. Highly recommend.

Good location for visiting Chattanooga and the surrounding area

The location of this property is great with a gorgeous view over the valley and privacy on the deck with a hot tub. It is, however, close to a busy highway so be aware of that when having to unload your car through the front door.The place was nicely set up and comfortable for us. The kitchen utensils and dishes could use replacement since everything is a little hodgepodge and some dishes had chips out of them. Also, maybe replace the cushions in the screen porch.We didn't get the door code prior to arriving but fortunately, the cleaners had left the door unlocked so we could get in. It always took a few hours to hear back from the owner when we had questions.Note - this place is on top of Lookout Mountain so keep in mind you have to drive up and down the mountain to see anything in Chattanooga. A roller coaster drive for sure!!

This location was perfect for us! We wanted something away from the city and to just slow down. This property provided just that! Slow and peaceful with an amazing view.

If I could rate this stay it would be 10 out of 5stars. I could not love this spot more. From the views, the cute hot tub, the grill, the amazing mattress in my room, literally everything about this place was perfect! The toilet downstairs was a little weird in orientation but other than that-I have zero complaints. it’s also just a short drive to downtown Chatt and all the beautiful scenic and cavern trails around. I’ll definitely stay again and again

Owner never sent us the code. After five hours of trying to reach him, we gave up. Vrbo refunded us and helped us book a hotel on their sister site. If you book this one, make sure you get check in details at least a day in advance. On the plus side, it did have an amazing view and a nice back porch.

Quaint but cozy. Checking in was incredibly easy and the host was super fast to respond to any questions I had. It was super clean upon arrival and they had plenty of towels (I don’t like to use the same towels for hot tub and shower) so that was nice. Close enough to town and even closer to Rock City if you’re planning on going. I booked it because of the view and it did not disappoint. I would like to go back in the spring or fall to see the same view with foliage. All in all great stay.

This was a perfect spot to stay on Lookout Mountain just a few miles from Covenant College. The view 24/7 was captivating & moved us to awe. We look forward to visiting again.

The house was great! The views were amazing! We saw hummingbirds and chipmunks playing every morning! We even saw a little groundhog. The outside deck was perfect for relaxing! We will be back!!!

The view from the property is breathtaking. Rick is a great host we had a issue with the air conditioner and he handle it very quickly.
