This was our second year in row at Flatrock. This place is perfect for our family and in a great location. We love that it's so private but so close to nearby stores in case we need anything. Charlie is a great host and is always available for questions and provides an amazing survival guide with tons of info. The house is fully stocked with quality everything! We especially love the dishes and pans. Plenty of space for 8 people and the dinner table is perfect for game nights. The brand new dock was awesome. My 83 year old dad still likes to jump in the lake but has trouble with ladders so the new stairs were a great addition. Our kids are teenagers now, but there is a really nice setup upstairs for smaller kids including a super cute bedroom, games, books, and DVDs to watch. It was great to have some floats that were already inflated that we could use. The lake water is so refreshing, clean and the perfect temperature. Great spot for sunsets. Thanks Charlie for a great vacation!

Beautiful house, fantastic location. Dock provides a wonderful spot for swimming, with awesome views of mountains and sunsets. House has everything you need: spacious and well appointed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Flatrock was great. This was one of our best vacations. Everyone enjoyed themselves. Charlie was the perfect host providing excellent communication the whole way through with an entertaining sense of humor. He keeps his place clean and well equipped. Water access was great for everyone whether it's the stairs down into sandy entry or diving off the end of the dock. The kids had fun playing pool in the basement. We loved the Sirius XM radio and had it playing all week. The dinner table seats eight comfortably and was great for gamenights. It's a perfect spot half way up the east side of Long Lake, so you get awesome sunsets and views of Mount Washington and being the same distance away from both Naples on the south side and Harrison on the north side made for awesome sunset trips on the boat to get ice cream after dinner. We never really had to leave the house as we had everything we needed to have the most fulfilling vacation and left completely satisfied. Charlie, thank you for making Flatrock available. We'll never forget our time at your wonderful place.

My family was gathering in Naples, Maine for a reunion and rather than just rent a hotel for the weekend of the reunion, I decided to rent a house on the lake for a week. Flying all the way in from Texas I wasn’t about to just pop in for the weekend. The house was exactly what I was looking for. Even though it was a little farther up the road from Naples than I originally wanted the drive was easy and the location was peaceful and relaxing. The house was prettier in person than the photos on-line. The kitchen was very well stocked (and even had a crock pot) which was great because we stayed in for most meals. I spent lots of time just sitting on the dock with my book while my mom hung out in the sunroom. We even built a fire in the outdoor fire pit. Charlie was super easy to communicate with as well. We loved our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone.

The owner was very quick to respond to my inquiries and gave clear instructions for arrival day. The place is absolutely beautiful with high ceilings and amazing views of the lake. There’s a lot of room to hang out with the entire family. There are a ton of board games for your use. The kitchen has a lot of cooking utensils, plates, pots, and pans plus tons of spices. We enjoyed the fire pit and relaxing out on the dock. The sunsets are gorgeous from the dock. The owner provided a very detailed listing of things to do in the area. We had fun swimming, golfing at a local course and having some wonderful meals nearby. We will definitely be back!

Every detail was thought of at this beautiful lakeside home. Our family of 5 stayed for a week and enjoyed swimming, boating (we rented a motorboat for 2 days) and having happy hour on the dock. The owner is great and the house has everything you could want in a lake house. Look forward to staying again.

We had a wonderful week staying at Flatrock, everything was as advertised and in top notch upkeep and order. Wonderful family vacation and was a fantastic week. Charlie was a very gracious host and very accomodating. We even left some personal belongings behind and Charlie is mailing our belongings to us.

Our expectations were exceeded with our arrival at this lovely property. Lots of space, well maintained & stocked. Beautiful new large deck and wonderfully clean lake front setting. We thoroughly enjoyed the swimming, even with a few days of rain, we had lots of space for games and quiet spaces for down time. We definitely would recommend it and hope to be back again! Charlie was super easy to communicate with and very accommodating!
