Log Home in a Peaceful Wood in Jim Thorpe

There is simply no better place to stay! This home is cozy while having plenty of space, immaculately clean, and well-appointed in every way. It is very private and extremely peaceful. The pub is more amazing than you can imagine! This was our second time staying here and we planned one of our days to ensure that we had a full evening and night in the pub.The host is creative, thoughtful and detailed and it shows in every way in his home. If the Jim Thorpe area is tour destination or you just want a place to get away and stay in, do not look anywhere else!

We had a great stay here when we skiied Blue Mountain. Super close car ride to downtown Jim Thorpe. The house itself was so cozy and loved the cabin vibes. We enjoyed playing darts and listening to music in the pub downstairs.

This is our second stay at this wonderful home. We brought friends along this time, and they’re talking about coming back when the weather warms up. It was an extremely cold weekend with a lot of snow on the ground. We’re grateful the homeowner took the effort to clear the driveway and made a path to the house for us rather than canceling. It had to be exhausting. We had a great weekend. Thank you for another great stay!

We had an awesome weekend at the log cabin in Jim Thorpe! The host was responsive and all of the instructions were clear and reasonable. The home was immaculate, well-appointed, and very cozy and comfortable. And an Irish pub in the basement?!?! It truly doesn't get any better! The location was great - close to Jim Thorpe, state parks, and lots of other activities.

The location near Jim Thorpe provided us great opportunities for new experiences in the beautiful fall environment.

We had a great trip and would book again. Very cozy, clean, and well stocked for a comfortable stay. The kids enjoyed the games/toys available and the basement bar was fun to visit after getting the little ones to bed.

The home was great. The location, out of the busy downtown, was wonderful and quiet. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. We had fun playing darts and quoits, sitting on the porch and by the fire. Really a fantastic place.

We had an amazing stay at the Log Home. Wayne was a great host. The house had everything we needed- it was pristine and fully stocked with the essentials- great bunk room for the kids and the bar was an added bonus for the adults in the group. Would absolutely come back and stay again!

Very nice cabin just as described. It was very peaceful. Very close to the town and easy to navigate. Would like to stay here again in the warmer months.

The cabin was beautiful. Everything was as described. We loved seeing all the deer at night and the pub was great. Lots of cool touches throughout. We really enjoyed our stay.

This cabin is the perfect stay for a family looking for a cabin setting with access to amenities. The cabin has everything you could possibly need for all ages and is spotlessly clean! We were a group ranging from 3 years old to 45. Kids were thrilled with the toys, tree house, zip line, fire pit and the bunk room. Adults had everything needed to make meals, relax, and have fun too! Playing darts in the pub was an added bonus. The cabin is also just minutes from downtown Jim Thorpe. We will be back and you should book it!

This place was incredible. Not at all what I expected. So many wonderful surprises. We will definitely be coming back again. We were there to visit Jim Thorpe, but we ended up staying home on Saturday night just so we could enjoy the coziness of the cabin.

This home is unique and flawless! Pictures and descriptions cannot do it justice. Every inch was spotlessly clean, it was incredibly well organized, and beautifully and creatively decorated. The outdoor spaces are very interesting to explore and peaceful as can be. Every room is comfortable and there is plenty of space in the kitchen. The pub is just the coolest! The owners clearly love their home, and you will love it, too.

Our stay was perfect! The log house was absolutely beautiful and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the Pub downstairs too! This home was the cleanest house we ever rented. We didn't want to leave. We will be back for sure.

Spent a long weekend here with my husband an y best friend and her husband, such a great weekend. Close enough to town that it didn’t feel like forever to get there but far enough out to enjoy the cabin in the woods feeling. Great size for us and would have had room for the kids too if they came with. Very clear. And host sent email few days before with information on cabin and the local area. Checking in and getting in cabin was super easy. Will book again

Seven women in Jim Thorpe for a girls trip for a 40th birthday. The house was perfect! Secluded with everything you would need to stay in, but close enough to all the town of Jim Thorpe has to offer. Would definitely stay again.
