Locke Lake Beachfront Vacation Home

We had an awesome time at the lake! The house was very clean and well stocked with all of the amenities you need. The listing was accurate and the owner was very reponsive. Our daughter really enjoyed the beach, kayaks/paddle boards, the play area in the basement and the selection of board games to wind down at the end of the day. The beach was amazing and went right into the water without having any large rocks or stairs to get there like some of the other lake houses we've rented in the past. So glad it was pet friendly, our labs swam the day away and enjoyed their time at the lake just as much as the rest of the family! Great place to sit back and relax for your stay!!

This was our second stay at this home, and we absolutely LOVE it. There is no need to bring anything extra as the house is stocked with sand toys, beach towels, extra blankets and pillows. Having the AC in the bedrooms is wonderful, as the house gets the breeze off the water, but it's nice to have the AC at bedtime. It's a quiet and peaceful location, and the association has lots of amenities. The fishing is fantastic. There were more weeds in the water this year than when we've stayed in the past, but they did come treat while we were there, so I'm sure that will alleviate the problem. Denise is responsive to all questions, and so helpful when you are looking for recommendations for something. We absolutely adore this property!

We just returned from a week at this home on Locke Lake and had a wonderful time. Denise was extremely accommodating and responsive to any questions that we had. The house had plenty of space for the 4 adults, 3 children and one dog that stayed the week. The house is well equipped with everything you need. The beach area was perfect for young kids with plenty of room to play and a nice shallow slope into the water. Also the home is stocked with plenty of games to keep the kids entertained in case of a rainy day. Not to mention, the fishing was pretty good as we were able to catch several good sized bass and catfish in the evening. The house is very pet friendly. I was pleasantly surprised to find that a dog runner was already setup on the beach area and also a gate for the deck so we could let the pup hang out on the porch and enjoy the view. I am already missing my morning coffee on the deck while taking in the view. We will definitely consider booking again in the future!

We had the best family vacation ever! There were 4 adults and 3 children ages 7, 5, and 10 months. We fished, swam, went searching for turtles, kayaked.... that's just the beginning. There are endless outdoor games, board games, children's toys, etc to keep everyone occupied. The kitchen is STOCKED with anything you may need. All linens smelled fresh upon arrival and the house was super clean. The owner was easily accessible to answer any questions. We will be back next year!

Wonderful place. The house is lovely, comfortable, clean. Sandy beach and lake also great. Very peaceful and private. We already book our family get together again for next year!

We had an incredible week at this property. Denise was very accommodating and a pleasure to work with. The view from the beach is serene and the early mornings on the deck were quiet and peaceful. We loved being able to walk right out from the deck to the beach, and then into the lake. The house is spacious, and is well equipped with games, toys and just about anything you would need to have an incredible vacation. I would highly recommend this property and hope to come back next year.

We just returned from a week at this home on Locke Lake with wonderful memories and plans to return next year! Denise was great to work with and extremely accomodating! The home is perfect for a family with plenty of room for extended family. We had 5 adults, 2 children, 2 dogs and never once felt cramped. Denise plans for everything and the home is so well equipped right down to dog dishes! The beach area was great, the water perfect and you cannot beat the view! I would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a vacation where you can totally relax and enjoy making wonderful family memories. We already booked our week for next year and can't wait!

This was our 5th year staying at this home at Locke Lake and we always have a great time. The large beach has a gentle entry to the lake which is great for kids, and there is plenty of yard for the dog to run around. The home is quiet, clean, and well cared for. Denise is a great host and a pleasure to work with. Looking forward to another trip to Locke Lake soon.

We just returned from a week at this wonderful house. It is well kept, spacious, comfortable and modern. There was ample space for 4 adults and 4 children plus extra room for guests. The owner was very attentive and a pleasure to work with. The house is stocked with just about everything you will need or may have forgotten. There are lots of inside and outside toys for the kids and also many items to make the stay fun for the dogs. A great perk is that Locke Lake is private so therefore the boat traffic is minimal which made going out in the kayak/canoe/paddle boat very relaxing. Overall, this is a wonderful place for a family vacation and a great value compared to what you would pay at one of the larger lakes for a similar property. We had planned some possible outings but due to absolutely perfect weather and being quite comfortable where we were, stayed put all week and that was just fine. Jocelyn D.

The house was just as described and better than the pictures. I would definitely recommend this rental to a friend, especially one with children. The beach and shallow water were perfect for my toddler to play on and she loved running around in the grass. The family room was perfect for lounging, the bedrooms were roomy and comfortable and the table sat our whole family which is rare in a lake rental. Found the home clean and well stocked with towels, linens, etc. We hope to rent again in the future!!
