Stayed Dec 23, 2024Toilets are outside, under the building. Means going outside in poor weather, to get to a bathroom. I had to repair the stairs going down, as they were washed away. Back deck is in a very dangerous and poor condition.

Stayed Dec 31, 2023From the moment we set our sights on the quaint and rural charm of Loch Sport 33 years ago, it was evident that this was going to be a unique and tranquil getaway. Nestled in a peaceful country town that embraces its minimalistic infrastructure, Loch Sport is perfect for those seeking to escape the bustling city life for a Bush and Beach setting. Our accommodation, though modest in size, was a perfect fit for our family of five. It provided us with a much-needed break from Melbourne's pace, allowing us to immerse ourselves in the joys of both the beach and the lake. The beds were comfortable, ensuring restful nights, and the property was equipped with everything we needed for our seven-day get-a-way. A highlight of our stay was the hospitality extended by our hosts, Ross and Barb. Their warm and accommodating nature made our experience even more delightful. Communicating with them was effortless and pleasant, adding a personal touch to our holiday experience.

Stayed Jan 4, 2021This was a great place to visit. Fantastic views. The place was nice and enough space for 6 people. Open plan accommodation. The laundry doesn't have a washing machine, just a sink, downstairs with the toilet and shower.

Stayed Dec 27, 2020We loved the stunning views from the balcony. The house is a short walk to the lake and a beautiful path follows the lake to the town. 90 mile beach is a short distance by car. Its in a quiet neighborhood with lots of birds. The owners gave detailed instructions including the need to bring all linen. The bed and couches were comfortable and the rooms freshly painted. The only bathroom/laundry is only accessible by steep stairs outside the house. There is a laundry sink but no washing machine.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Firstly, the advertisement says this place is suitable for 8 people, which is not true at all, there were 2 double bed, one bunk and one dirty sofa bed that was absolutely disgusting. This place was full of dust and quite dirty everywhere, my friend got hayfever, moreover we found cockroaches in the kitchen and rooms. Furthermore, the ad didn't say that you have to bring your own sheets, if you are rent a room or house, it always come with everything, so you just have to bring your clothes, the place didn't have sheet, It had some blankets full of dust and dirty with Cockroaches. I don't RECOMMEND THIS PLACE at all. Cheers, Delly G

Stayed Dec 31, 1969This is a small cottage, but feels big due to the open plan living/dining/kitchen, plus the long balcony. My family (2 adults, 3 small kids) had heaps of room. Furniture and fittings are good. Kitchen has many new utensils etc, plus the place had just been painted and refreshed when we visited. Excellent A/C, TV, fridge, gas BBQ and microwave. Only challenge is the toilet and bathroom are downstairs, accessed by going outside, but you get used to that. Overall, charming, fresh and simple, with brilliant views, and great value for money. We'd stay here again.
