Location! Location! Classic Nantucket 6-Bedroom Home Steps From Town!

One of the few remaining historic homes in town that has been lovingly updated and maintained while retaining the original gorgeous architecture and unique elements of classic Nantucket homes. I love the layout of the house, with plenty of room for everyone to have their own space and also share together in the common spaces. The large yard is perfect for outdoor dining and kids playing on the lawn, and the best part is the location is a quick walk to the heart of Town. It’s especially great for multigenerational vacations, if your family has grandchildren and grandparents. The top floor is perfect for kids - a nautical hangout space with separate beds and nautical decor. Thank you for renting your lovely home for us to enjoy!

Owners are great, very responsive, very accommodating, helpful...more so than I could have imagined or hoped for. 8 of us went over for the stroll, great weather till the last day. 6 of us were getting off by boat, later in the day 2 had early evening plane reservations. I asked for a later check out and since they had no one coming they said sure. When ACK cancelled all flights that Sunday, the 2 on the plane were stuck. I felt bad asking if the two of them could stay another night, but the owners were so gracious, let them stay over at no additional cost. Having lived on the island, I can say that for vacationing, the house location is perfect. Easy walking distance to everything in town, but far enough away and in a very quiet section. On top of that, take a left out of the driveway and it’s a straight two minute drive to the mid island hub used by all locals (All stores, the rotary to get you anywhere, gas starion, etc) The house itself has all the charms you’d expect from a nearly 200 year old island home. Old wood floors and quirky doors, but lots of space to either spread out or get together. 8 adults never felt cramped one bit. Easily could have been quite a few more. And we never even ventured up to the third floor. Although we didn’t use it (being December) the back yard is surprisingly large and private for the In town location. Thanks for everything.

We stayed at Pleasant Times for a September wedding weekend and absolutely loved it!! The house is clean and spacious with lots of living space and a great backyard, fully equipped with beach chairs & towels, coolers & ice, etc. The proximity to town makes it the perfect location to walk to the best restaurants and shops. Marti was the best hostess and wonderful to work with before, during and after our stay and we hope to go back soon!!

We stayed at Pleasant Times after reading the reviews and it could not have been more spot on. Wonderful, centrally- located, historic captain's home, next to town with all the amenities one could ask for (bikes, beach toys, coolers, even an ice machine!). We had 3 generations there for a mini family reunion and it could not have been better! The owners were responsive and detailed when we had a local question. They even recommended a few places to eat and activities that only the locals new about (Loines Observatory for example!). I look forward to returning to Pleasant Times next year! Everything that my family could have asked for and more!

This quaint, charming and spacious home has everything for a perfect Nantucket vacation. We had another great week at Pleasant Times, walking around the corner, down Main Street to find a new favorite restaurant, taking a bike ride to the Brant Point Lighthouse and the Children's Beach or just staying in on a rainy day. Whether you are looking for the perfect rental for your young family, or having a grown up reunion with friends, this home offers everything that is great about Nantucket. The owners are also very kind and accommodative, which is a major plus. FIVE STARS!!!!

We had an excellent time at this house. There was plenty of equipment to make awesome meals, and our host was very prompt and helpful with any questions we had over text. We used the beach towns, grill, bikes, cornhole set, and more. She gave us great instructions for what to do on the island and let us have a late checkout. We will hopefully be back soon!
