Location! Location! Beach House 100 yards from ocean!

Beautiful, cozy, clean place. Excellent stay!!

We had a great time the location was the best. House had everything we needed to have a fun time at the beach.

We had a lovely stay at this cute beach cottage. I was recovering from brain surgery and needed to stay close to the hospital. The beach neighborhood provided the perfect Vitamin Sea therapy as I regained my strength. Communication with Darlene was quick and she answered all our questions. We would highly recommend this property.

We have stayed here previously and enjoy the location and the good energy this house brings. The host is attentive, the house is comfortable, and the location makes a day at the beach easy.

This is our 5th stay, and we'll keep coming back. It has everything we need for comfort and enjoyment. We especially love the front screened-in porch, where we watch all the interesting people out walking, riding, dancing, and generally enjoying the warm weather on First Street.

We took our grandkids ( ages 3-8) for the weekend. Easy short walk to the beach. The house came with beach chairs, rolling cooler and some sand toys for the kids. Toys and games at the house as well. Darlene was very welcoming.

We loved our stay. In town for Thanksgiving family reunion and loved the old school beach cottage, harder and harder to find in Jax Beach. Literally steps from beach. Clean and comfy and great front porch to sit on and watch the people go by on first street. Book it!

Darlene was an extremely accommodating host. We needed her help on a few different occasions (our own issues) and she could not have been more gracious. Location of house was KILLER! Street a lot quieter than what I pictured from the photos. Charming, old, comfortable beach cottage that had everything we needed and more. Thank you!

We didn't come for the Fin Fest, but found out it was going on the weekend we were here. It was just a block or two away, and we thoroughly enjoyed hearing the music from the bandstand, the happy crowds, and the many folks walking to and from the festival. Everyone was friendly and we enjoyed the fun!

Could have some updates like dishwasher and garbage disposal. Shower is good for short people not over 6 feet ^^

Location is awesome!You can literally walk to beach ,restaurants,and shopping!

Loved it, beautiful house and location!

Enjoyed our stay here to celebrate the 4th of July. Perfectly located by the beach and we were able to watch the fireworks from the front patio without having to worry about parking or other people. Would definitely stay here again in the future!

This is an old house, but it is wonderfully maintained and updated. Beautiful, specious, and in a great location. Several restrictions within walking distance and two beach access points right across the street. The Jax Beach Pier is also just down the road. If you're looking for a relaxing beach stay that is also convenient to town, food, sopping etc... then this is the perfect house for you! Darlene is also very communicative and will answer any questions almost immediately. She can also reccomend things to do if you are unfamiliar with the area.

We had a great time staying at the beach cottage. It is a perfect location to be right in the mix of things and so close to the beach. The layout is cute and has everything you can think of to use for cooking, beaching, and having a great time!

I stayed here with my granddaughter to recuperate for the first two weeks after surgery at nearby Mayo Clinic…the home is charming, with lots of little touches, and Darlene is a responsive and gracious host! Five stars!

This is a great little house for easy access to the beach. The owner has thought of just about everything you'll need or want, and then some. Comfortable bed, very clean, well appointed with more than you'll likely need for a comfortable stay. Off-street parking included. The beach is like most in this area. It can be narrow at high tide and crowded at peak times and/or holidays. But a visit in the morning or evening will enhance the experience. I would rent this property again without hesitation.
