Little Compton: Sweeping ocean view, 5min walk 2 beach, big yard w/ patio, 4 BRs

Everything was as described and of course we look forward to the master bath next year…:)))

We loved the backyard. Was perfect for our little grandkids and us adults. We played corn hole and enjoyed the lawn and ocean view. Easy check in. Easy walk to the beach. We really loved our stay here

The location, amount of space/rooms, and backyard space were perfect for our family. Can't beat a 10 minute walk to the beach and seeing the ocean from your front window! The rooms were definitely very hot as we happened to be there during a heat wave and it was tough to get things cooled off. WiFi and TVs with Roku were great. Really looking forward to that future half bath in the master bedroom! :)

Great location to walk down to Goosewing Beach, walk over to Wishing Stone farm stand explore parts of Little Compton, Tiverton, Westport, So. Dartmouth, MA Middletown/Newport area. Good views of the ocean big backyard for playing games hanging out. Grilled at home several eves the round table fit our party well. Thank you!

We were very impressed with this property. So many rooms to spread out in with TVs in all those places. Beautiful scenery with water views. It takes about 20-30 minutes to get over to the road to Newport or Falls River, MA. We got to Cape Cod, Falmouth, and Martha's Vineyard with ease.

Loved the ocean view. A little out of the way for activities, but overall it was a great time!

This house was the perfect size for our group of 7 women to celebrate birthdays and us. There were ample sleeping spaces plus couches if we wanted more. The kitchen was stocked with all of the necessities to serve our meals and the table was big enough so we could all eat together. There are multiple sitting areas in the house to hang out and be comfortable. There were extra blankets to keep us warm. One drawback was the upstairs bedroom shades are very flimsy, so when any window was open, they all banged in the breeze and crinkled like a can of chips. We slept with the windows closed to avoid this which was ok with the wind and rain we experienced but would have been problematic if it was warmer. It is a short walk to the beach and nature preserves to keep busy. We also discovered the Sakonnet Vineyard, about 15 minutes away, for wine tasting, food and music.

We appreciated the host's flexibility accommodating our early arrival request as we were in the Little Compton area for family wedding gatherings. The location of the home was quiet and peaceful with just a few minutes walk to the lovely beach.

We would love to return next September!

This beach property is a wonderful place for a family to gather and have fun! It is larger than it looks, with 4 bedrooms and many beds, including 2 bunkbeds in one room. There are essentially 2 living rooms, and a dining room that also has couches in it, which also doubles as a nice gathering spot. Also a sunporch! One of the living rooms looks out at the water that sits on the other side of the street--a beautiful view! There was ample room to gather but also many spaces to enjoy away from the group. There is also a huge patio with outdoor furniture for those who would want to barbecue or eat al fresco. The decor was pleasantly beachy with pretty aquamarine colors in some rooms. The kitchen was well-equipped and easy to cook in. The upstairs bedroom is lovely with panoramic window ocean views and a little outdoor deck. It was great, but would be even greater with an ensuite bathroom, which is apparently planned in the future. My suggestions for a few improvements would be: make sure all table lamps have lightbulbs; repair a couple of overhead light fixtures in one of the baths; and address the problem of garbage in the garage that seemed to be attracting flies. And I wish the TVs had access to all major networks. These were minor issues that did not affect our overall very pleasant stay, but if addressed would bring the experience up to an even higher notch. Great home. Clean and well stocked. Easy communication with our host. We would definitely stay in this property again. Relatives who visited enjoyed the home and yard. Perfect for our family.

This was a lovely and spacious house that was a quick walk to the beach. The owner was very responsive and checked in on us during our stay. There were plenty of sleeping options for our young kids. They enjoyed sleeping together in the double bunk bed room and playing on the backyard swingset. Even though we brought everything we needed, we were happily surprised to see the house had a spices, coffee, condiments, and most pantry staples stocked. The view from the upstairs primary bedroom was gorgeous. The only drawback was that the house doesn't have air conditioning, which was tough during our July/August stay. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The house was exactly as advertised - a family-friendly cottage with spectacular ocean views. The amount of wildlife we say was truly astounding.
