Little Beauty Cottage No. 39, lake cottage, near Louisville

Great getaway. Everything you need.

The property was a perfect stay while we visited Louisville and the surrounding bourbon distilleries. We would definitely recommend this property for anyone staying in the area.

The property was exactly as described and pictured. Spotless clean and well appointed with everything we needed. It is a quiet location and nice for families. The wine and flowers when we arrived as well as the snacks and water were greatly appreciated. We were visiting for the Kentucky Derby and it was so rainy. Coming back to this little cottage was warm and inviting. I would definitely book this property again. It felt safe and comfortable.

Cottage was immaculate and we loved the welcome bouquet and notes. Front and back porches were a great place for coffee and conversation. Four star rating is due mainly to the extremely firm mattresses on the twin beds. We bought egg crate foam toppers which solved the problem. The kitchen was small with no place to store food. There are plenty of towels provided but only one towel rack - no place to hang a hand towel or washcloth at the sink. (Minor annoyance). But oh my what a lovely location! Overall a very good value for the price.

Very quiet and peacefull. A relaxing place to stay. Nice to watch the sunset from the hot tub. Host even left snacks, flowers, coffees , a bottle of wine and everything needed for a great getaway. We enjoyed our stay and will return for sure.

What a beautiful little house! I think I said this is the cutest place ever! six times after arriving! Everything was clean, bright, and comfortable. There was a bottle of wine and a beautiful bouquet of flowers waiting for us upon arrival. All the 'extras' were so much appreciated after the long drive ... bottled waters, snacks, Keurig coffee pods and creamer and especially appreciated were the thermacell portable mosquito repellent canisters (with refills!). We used them every night while on the deck or in the hot tub. There was nothing we needed for our six-day stay. A charming place. We would definitely stay again if we are in the area!!

This home was extremely clean and welcoming. As a family of 4 it seemed to have the perfect amount of space for us. We enjoyed the snacks and flowers on arrival. The keyless entry code made it very easy to come and go, as well as get into the house right when we got there. The owner was very friendly and quick to respond. We all really enjoyed our stay here. :)

Wonderful location, fully stocked kitchen, hot tub was perfect with the lake view. Will definitely stay again!
