Linfield Cottage is a boutique style country home that combines elegance and style with comfort and location. You can do plenty or as little as you want - talk wines and vines with us overlooking the towering century old redgums. Sit back and read a book or play a game from our extensive library.

Grab a picnic rug and table and order a platter and wine from the cellar door and explore the vineyard.

Test out your culinary skills - visit the local markets to stock up on seasonal produce from breakfast to dinner and enjoy the well decked out kitchen to cook up a holiday storm.

Vineyard Tours

As guests of Linfield Cottage we will take you on a tour** of the vines that make the wines for our award winning label - Linfield Road Wines, arguably one of the best new wines to come out of the Barossa Valley in recent years.

This personalised tour will take you throughout the vineyard where you can see firsthand the different varieties and hear about the viticulture side of our industry. During vintage, we offer a tasting amongst the vines by matching grape to wine. A truly complete experience of vine to bottle. **Small charge applicable for tour.

We loved Linfield Cottage. Warm and inviting. Great location close to walks and wineries (and has its own cellar door). Hosts thought of everything.

We loved our cottage stay at Linfield. The history and character of the property was combined with comfortable beds and furnishings, professional linens and bathroom supplies and generous supplies for breakfast and treats. Fully fitted kitchen and elegant dining room. We also enjoyed a wonderful cellar door experience, just a few steps away, with a great range of wines from this family run winery established in the 1800s, while looking over the vineyard. Just 20 minutes to the heart of the Barossa.

A lovely cottage tucked away near a lovely vineyard next door with a good host explaining local area delights. Cottage was delightfully furnished and all thoughtful touches and plenty pantry stuff.

We had a great time. The place was just awesome. There was plenty of food. It was only less than 1 minute walk to the cellar door. Steve was really lovely and was ever so helpful. My daughter and I will certainly be back with our husbands. Thank you ever so much for making our girls weekend away so enjoyable and relaxing.

Linfield Cottage was our home for a week and we loved everything about it...spacious with a cozy cottage feel, beautifully decorated, a well equipped kitchen with all sorts of gourmet goodies for breakfast and snacks and a lovely spa bathroom. Perfect location to discover the Barossa Wine area, Adelaide Hills and Adelaide. The Wilsons were extremely and helpful and friendly.

The house is a beautifully restored typical old stone South Australian house. It is comfortably decorated to give you a traditional feel but with all the creature comforts of a modern home. The kitchen is very well equipped and the fridge very well stocked. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming and provided far above and beyond what we expected. The location is perfect, a short stroll in to Williamstown, calm and peaceful with a lovely view over the family vineyard. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be coming back!

We really enjoyed our stay in this cosy home and fantastic region barossa valley. If you want to relax in a perfectly furnished cottage this is the right place for you. And the the hosts are so amazingly friendly and down to earth - it cannot be better. We even got a special ride through the vineyards in an old army jeep, also to see some Kangaroos - but they decided not to show up as always when you look for them ;-) Thanks a lot for the great time!
