Lil' Lake House - Dog and Family Friendly, 2 BR

Perfect house for our weekend in Akron! The kitchen was nicely stocked with everything we needed. Coffee and tea and snacks were a very nice touch! Kids loved the foosball table in the basement. The ability to do laundry was a huge plus!

We really enjoyed our stay at this house. We were visiting family in the area, and this location was perfect for us. The house was clean and just the right size for our family of 4. We’re hoping to stay here again next time we’re in Akron.

Enjoyed our stay at this very nice home. We had everything we needed. There was a crate for our dog and a fenced in yard. We appreciated the snacks and the donut shop coffee. The beds were very comfortable.

The home was very clean, nice and neat. The host was great and so helpful with everything. We didn't use the kitchen much. Very quiet and peaceful there. We hope to come back for another hiking days at the national park. Thank you.

The hosts have done a fantastic job of providing a clean and tidy home with all the essentials needed. Beds are comfortable. Linens and towels were a nice quality. Kitchen is adequately stocked and had delightful finds for a child of the 70’s with Tupperware measuring cups and colored glasses. It was a plus to have everything needed for a cup of coffee or tea. The lake has a lovely walking trail around it and the wildlife was fun to watch. Overall, this property is a delightful spot!

The house is cozy, clean, and in a great location for enjoying Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Our dog loved the fenced-in back yard. The hosts were friendly and attentive. Everything was excellent and exceeded our expectations!

The host was absolutely wonderful. He was welcoming and contacted beforehand and during stay to say that they were there if we needed anything. The VRBO is right by a lake with a walking trail, which was wonderful since we had our two dogs with us and love to be outdoors/go for walks. The fenced in yard was also very convenient, and they had the scooper to clean up the dog poop. They had a basket of some snacks and some bottled waters in the fridge, which was very thoughtful, a hair drier & shampoo & conditioner in case you needed it. The kitchen was stocked to be able to cook our meals (also a full rack of seasonings) & a coffee/tea. Just thoughtful little things that made life easier. Instructions for check in and out were clear & simple to accomplish. Beds were decent and they provided all linens & towels. It was a very pleasant stay and my sister, BIL, the 2 kids, & myself truly appreciate the kindness & thoughtfulness of the host. Wonderful stay.

Very welcoming and clean. Cute decor. The beds were too firm for my liking but other then that it was absolutely amazing.

We were traveling with our two pups to Akron to attend a baby shower and this place was very accommodating. Super thankful for the hosts!

Very clean, bright, and warm home. Snacks and coffee pods available and comfortable beds. Fenced yard for the dog was appreciated as was the washer and dryer. All new appliances in kitchen. Any communication with host was answered quickly.

The house was very clean and comfortable. We appreciated that the house was well-stocked with common kitchen and bathroom items. When we arrived we found bottled waters in the fridge, an assortment of coffees and teas, and more than enough paper towels, toilet paper, hand soap, shampoo, and conditioner. The hosts checked in with us daily to make sure we had everything we needed, which was nice.

Very easy to deal with, clean, and straight forward. Love that they had little extras for the pups if you forgot something (crate, bowels, poop bags), and they even had a few baby toys for our one year old!

The lil' lake house was a fantastic place to stay! The house itself is tastefully decorated with comfortable and visually appealing furniture. It wad off-the-charts clean, which was greatly appreciated. The kitchen was well-equipped to handle meal prep and reheating alike. Julie was the consummate host, reaching out several times throughout our stay to ensure we had all we needed. Having the ability to do laundry during our stay was a game-changer on our road trip, and we marveled at how clean the basement, where the machines are located, was kept. The fenced-in area out back is small, but servivable. The back steps to get outside are a little wonky and were challenging withour elderly dog, but i think a younger, heathier pup would be fine. The nearby lake was a nice place to walk. Another reviewer described the surrounding area as being economically depressed, and it's true that some of the homes need a little love, but the neighborhood is clean and relatively quiet; it was a peaceful and pleasant home base while we hiked at CVNP. There was some road noise in the evenings, but it didnt really disturb is too much. All in, we loved our stay here, and will definitely seek to stay ahain next time we're in the area!

Nice location near the lake!We were in town in Akron and Cuyahoga falls for a wedding and this was pretty centrally located.

Very nice little house. Neighborhood is a little run down but location is very convenient to the highway. Nice walking path at the lake that is directly across the street. Great place to walk your dogs.Lots of cool little restaurants close by. I recommend DeCheco's pizza.The off street parking and fenced in yard are great!

Checking in was a snap. The host contacted me with the information needed prior to our arrival and everything went smoothly. The kitchen was stocked with snacks and a few bottles of water so that we were able to wait until the next morning to stock up for our stay. Also there were coffee pods! The instructions for checking out were short and sweet. So, no problems on that end either! Our stay was comfortable and the location was convenient for our daily trips to the covered bridges, rock and rock Hall of Fame, Cuyahoga Falls National Park, and the Blossom Music Center. Right out the door of our rental was a lake side path which I used for my morning jog each day. The community was very quiet and pleasant. An excellent location and super hosts!

This cute little house has been nicely refurbished, and we had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. It is convenient to downtown, to Cuyahoga NP and across the street from a nice walking path around the lake. The hosts were excellent to work with. The surrounding area is economically depressed but was generally very quiet and we didn't have any problems.

Great location. Easy to get around. We’ll be booking there again soon.

Our little family enjoyed the cozy accommodations. We took our small dog walking on the path around the lake across the street. Saw Heron and turtles. We also hiked in Cuyahoga Valley National Park about 25 minutes from the house. The coffee, snacks and water at the house were much appreciated.

The house was pet friendly and a great place to bring my dogs on our annual hiking vacation! The hosts were very helpful and responsive, great communication!

This house is very comfortable and we enjoyed our short stay. The location was great for access to hiking, especially CVNP. (Just a short drive away) The lake was lovely for an evening walk. Very neat and clean. Good proximity to many restaurants.

Ideal location and amenities for two couples.We spent the better part of two days visiting local wineries and attractions. Lil' Lake House provided a very clean and quiet location for us to enjoy.

Grateful for this stay. Beds were comfy. House was clean. Fenced in back yard area was so helpful for traveling with our dogs. Kitchen well equipped and spacious. Location was okay. Had a big rig semi parked next to us so it was difficult to enjoy the lake view.
