This rental is like being at home. Everything we needed was there. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Nothing negative! We will definitely come back!
This place has just about everything. Located on the North Fork of the Shenandoah River, it is in a peaceful area near town, but not too near. The house is in good condition, but could use a little touch up here and there. All appliances were in good working order and the kitchen had many pots, pans and utensils. The bathrooms were all in good condition. One thing to note is that the area has soft water. We were lucky enough to meet the owner as we checked in. He is a really nice guy and gave us some tips about fishing spots on the river. I would happily stay here again.
We had a wonderful weekend at the river house. The photos didn’t do the location and house justice. Plenty of space, beautiful view, separated from other houses. We were able to enjoy the inside and outside of the property.
Very comfortable home in a pretty Fall setting. Well furnished.
This was a great house to stay in for a grandmother and her kids and grandchildren. My only beef is the fact that we had to put away clean dishes back in the cupboard and there were no bath towels. I paid for a cleaning fee so I don’t understand. I flew in from Texas and having a bath towel to pack for flying was too much!
The house is modern and clean. The property backs up to the Shenandoah river....very nice.
We enjoyed the house and grounds very much. We played badminton on the front lawn, walked to the road each afternoon, paddled down the river in the canoes, had family meals together in the dining room (had to buy silverware as there wasn’t much in the drawer). Nice stay! Called property owner about washing machine problem (does not spin) but did not hear back. Otherwise very nice stay.
Property was clean however there is really not much of a backyard, does not feel recreational.
My family and I rented the house for our Thanksgiving and had a wonderful time. The house has plenty of space and is in a scenic location next to the Shenandoah river. We enjoyed the fire pit on the chilly nights and the sun room in the morning was great. Thanks for the stay!
Peaceful setting.
