Light-filled canal front home w/deck, washer/dryer, private hot tub, central A/C

House is cute and has potential to be fantastic if kept up/maintained better. Big maintenance issues that should have been inspected and addressed/fixed prior to guests arriving for summer vacations (including a number of safety issues) and these have all been sent to Vacasa by renter in the hopes they resolve these for other guests before they spend their hard earned savings on a family getaway. Overall, the house is in a great location, beautiful views, nice hot tub, bright inside, great sunroom (minus the roaches in there and in bedrooms), and comfy furniture.

Stayed for a long weekend to take advantage of the beautiful fishing weather. This house was the perfect location for all our favorite restaurants and beach access. Would rent this house again!

This home is at a wonderful place and great amenities. The extra room off the living was a wonderful place to get away for some quiet time. Definitely looking to come back.

Fishing with our family and close friends was the best part of renting this house! It is well equipped, like I said the hot tub issue put a damper in our vacation mid week due to not working properly.

Let me start by saying that this review is to give constructive criticism. We enjoyed ourselves and had amazing weather this week in OBX. Considering they got hit pretty hard by rain the weeks before. I think the house has been maintained very well inside. There is definitely room for improvement outside. The wooden furniture is splintering and it's time to just replace them. A nice plastic lounge chair on the very upper deck to sun bath would be perfect. It would have to be anchored down due to wind, but it's possible. The hottub was the biggest disappointment of our stay. Whoever maintains the chemical balance needs to be more considerate of checking chlorine levels. We didn't get to use it the entire week! I know we could have called, but it still wouldn't have been corrected during our stay I don't think. It needed drained and refilled in my opinion. Oh, and they only left 2 trash bags for a family of 4 for a week. I found that a little odd. The dryer and dishwasher are both ready to be updated. Took so long to dry clothes, and I had to hand dry everything out or the dishwasher. Again, I'm just trying to help with little things so this house can be a 5 star! It's definitely a gorgeous location and perfect for those who enjoy fishing, kayaking, boating, etc.

Beautiful house and perfect location to disconnect from everyday life and stress. No need to use the TV or nice selection of DVDs. The changing colors of the sky and amazing views were our screen. Very well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds. All fine.

Overall house was good. Minor fixes to the home are needed.

Great views of the sound,bad crabbing and fishing but It was fun. Close to the drive on beach, for that It was a good location.

Location is everything and this home had views for as far as your eyes can see. The sunrises and sunsets were amazing ?. Just sitting on the deck, watching the views and listening to the sound was exactly what we both needed. The house was clean beautiful and felt homey. We enjoyed sitting in the hot tub while star gazing. Let’s talk about the beds…oh my goodness, they were like sleeping on clouds! We slept extremely well ✌️ definitely a place we would come back to!! We really loved this house. It offers stunning views and great amenities. It was a great time. There are some things that need to be repaired around the property such as the chairs and tables on every deck level, the chairs on the dock as well as the bench. My husband and I refused to use the stairs outside from the second to the third floor because they were rotted and unstable. The hot tub needs a new face plate to protect the filters. All mostly cosmetic issues. Everything else was perfect.
