Life's Too Shore: Oceanview, Dog Friendly, Pool

We had a wonderful visit in OIB. The accommodations were almost perfect. No complaints.

Lazy Dynamite cottage provided a perfect 3 night beach getaway. Comfortable beds and sofa, great outdoor gathering spots, well equipped kitchen, and nice bathrooms were so appreciated. The outdoor shower was WAY better than a hose!?. Just a short walk to a beautiful, uncrowded beach. Great Thai takeout nearby and just a short drive to Fishy Fishy in Southport. We plan on returning to Lazy Dynamite and include my sister and brother-in-law since the cottage is so spacious. Oh, and we absolutely loved the eclectic artwork at Lazy Dynamite. It was a memorable vacation!!

We just spent a week in this house, and had a really great time! Each bedroom having its own bathroom was very convenient and the kitchen was large enough for our family. The pool was really nice to have, next time we would bring a tent or umbrella, so it could be shaded in the afternoon since it’s in full sun. Convenient location to beach access and close enough to hop on the golf cart to ride into the main part of the island for ice cream or the park. Really nice house, very comfortable, we have already booked next year stay!

Very comfortable bedrooms with their own bathroom, loved the furniture on the top deck, and 2 living rooms made it perfect for my kids and grandkids

The home was well equipped with all that our large family needed for meals and family time. We loved that each BR had its own en suite. We enjoyed lots of pool time and appreciated the close proximity to the beach. Loved the upper deck for dolphin watching in the morning and listening to the surf in the evening. The elevator made groceries and luggage so much easier too.

It was a wonderful place for our family to spend a long weekend together. Convenient to everything we needed.

Great house for big family. Nice and spacious. Treasure chest was a nice touch. Kitchen is well stocked with supplies to make some home cook meals.

We booked this place for our annual family vacation. The spaces were exactly as described in the listing. It is very close to public beach access (5 house down) and because of the shorter houses across the street the ocean view was great from the top deck. The pool was warm despite being the last week of sept so that was a pleasant surprise for us. Having 2 living room spaces was ideal for our group. Beds were comfy and the elevator was a big hit for moving luggage/groceries and used daily by those that struggled with the stairs. We would definitely consider renting this house again for future stays.

This house met all of our requirements: elevator for my 82 year old mom, pet friendly, and perfect bed configuration for our family. We sat on the deck and could see the ocean which was nice because the houses across the street are one story. Close walkable beach access. Very nice place and we enjoyed our stay and will probably stay again.

Very convenient to the beach, restaurant, pier and even Putt-Putt! Couldn't ask for a better place to stay. Very nice area and well maintained!

The home needs some attention like others have mentioned. I sent the issues we had privately to the realtor company for them to address. Nice walking distance to public beach access!

We had 10 people ages 2-84 stay at Life’s Too Shore for a beach week reunion. The home was perfect for us with separate bathrooms for each bedroom, two sitting areas, an elevator and a pool. Great view over the top of the houses across the street on the oceanfront. Elevator made it easy for the 80+ year old and the toddlers to navigate from ground level to the 3rd floor. The small pool was great for the kids and the public beach access was less than a block walk/golf cart ride. The kitchen is well-equipped, although there was no Keurig, despite one shown in the photos. Nice grill on the ground floor as well. Highly recommend!

The owner needs to spend time in this house!!! And understand how the elevator malfunctions!!!! And get it fixed Very disheartening It was a family reunion.We had elderly people in the house.That could not do steps.This was a huge inconvenience!!!!!

Great house, my siblings and myself were in the area for a wedding. The house was very convenient to Southport, grocery stores, restaurants and the beach. We had a great time and was even able to spend some time on the beach. It was a fast and easy walk to the beach. The house was very clean and had all the amenities we needed.
