Nestled on Whitstable’s iconic Sea Wall, you are quite literally seconds from the sea. Inside, the house is thoughtfully laid out over four floors, offering flexible space for families, friends and even your four-legged friends. On the lower ground floor you’ll find the heart of the home: a light and sociable kitchen, dining and living area with a cosy log burner. With doors out to a pretty courtyard patio and a raised lawn, it’s ideal for summer days and evenings. A useful wet room with shower sits on this level too, perfect for rinsing off sand and salt after a day on the beach. On the ground floor is an inviting king size bedroom at the front of the house, next to a well-appointed bathroom featuring a roll top bath (the ultimate reward after a bracing dip). On the first floor you’ll discover a bunk bedroom with two full-size single beds, great for children or adults, and a spacious living room with wonderful sea views. It’s a lovely calm space to gather in the evening: film nights, quiet reading, or simply watching the sunset dip over the water.

At the top of the house is the attic double bedroom, also with fabulous sea views, a peaceful retreat for grown-ups or teens (note: the stairs are very steep, so best suited to those comfortable on their feet). Location here is everything. From early morning sea dips, to coffee and croissants on the patio or strolls into town for oysters, Lenham House gives you the full Whitstable experience. Whether you’re here with children, friends, dogs or all of the above, Lenham House is ready to welcome you.

Please note check out is 10am. Please ensure you vacate on time to allow our housekeepers to enter the property and prepare it for the next guests.

Please note for insurance purposes the number of guests must not exceed the total occupancy of the house.
For fire safety reasons please do not use any candles in the property.
Please be respectful to neighbours. Quiet hours are between 11pm and 9am.
