Leigh Family Bach - Your perfect spot for a family getaway in the heart of Leigh

Bach was suitable for a larger family/group with a tidy outdoor area and big table, extra mattresses if needed. The 4 queen beds had lovely linen on them. We forgot it was not a air b and b, although similar and I would recommend bringing your own toiletries and some extra toilet paper. No complaints as was perfect for our pre wedding stay. Good communication with hosts and easy access

Perfect beyond all our expectations!

The property was well set up for a family or extended family and central to Leigh & its local amenities. It was perfect for what we needed. I locked my self out accidentally and rang owner/management & was immediately fixed with a solution. Thank you for that. I would return to this property if I needed to stay up in this area again.

House was clean and fully equipped for a family holiday. We left early only because of the Cyclone but will definitely come back for a longer stay as it is a great rental, affordable and close to all activities.The washing machine wasn't working (but a tradesperson was coming to look at it on Monday). It wasn't a biggie since ours was a short stay but it would have been a hassle if it was a longer stay only because the nearest laundromat is 30 minutes drive. The house is set up so you can entertain away from the kids if needed. Thank you for an awesome stay

House was clean. WASHING MACHINE spin didnt work..Handy to the corner store,need to be extra careful backing down drive,tree on berm blocks view of traffic coming down the road

A lovely long weekend celebrating Mum’s 70th. We missed the first night due to the state of emergency but arrived to a warm, well-prepared home.Comfortable, family-friendly, and in a great spot near Goat Island and Matakana, with everything we needed. We’d happily stay again, such a relaxed, welcoming feel.

This is a great comfy place in a central location. Has everything you need and great hosts. Recommend

Securely fenced for pets. Clean, tidy bach with all facilities needed for a comfortable stay, Some nice beaches and walks within a short driving distance.The instructions need updating regarding rubbish (collection day now Monday and has a bin rather than bags).

There was a problem.with the TV and the host came all the way out to property to fix it for us the same day. We were blown away with how quickly it was sorted. The property was lovely, the kitchen well-stocked with all the equipment you'd need and the place was clean and tidy. Great location for trips to the beach or lounging around in bad weather. It’s a great place to stay. Peaceful and quiet. It has everything we needed. Plus it’s close to beaches and towns. The hosts were amazing answering all my questions quickly. The place was really clean and tidy.

Showers fantastic, kitchen well stocked with cooking utensil, beds comfy, fire lovely on cold night . None of the patio lights worked, nor did the power point for hairdryer in bathroom. Had issue with sleepout door, however the house keeper did resolve this promptly. Overall OK.

Great cozy spot for a winter weekend away with the family. Plenty of board games and toys for the little ones. The fireplace made it nice and toasty on the chilly evenings.

Accommodation was good. Thought it might be a bit cold but once we got the fire going it warmed the place up. Kitchen was well equipped which would have been useful if we were there longer. Was well located for our planned activities

Owner, Nigel was pleasant to communicate with. The house was clean, tidy and well presented. Well equipped to host friends or family. Lots of space inside and outside. Good for entertaining or just getting away from the hustle and bustle. Really recommend this place. 5 stars from us.

The bach was perfect for us! Cozy woodburner but spare heaters as well. Very spacious bedrooms, a lovely porch and a secure, fenced garden for our dogs. The house is located very central to all the places we visited but not too busy.

We loved our stay at Leigh Family Bach! A spacious place the whole family could relax in. We loved the size of the 2 main bedrooms, great for teens! The extra room outside suited our older son and the bedroom off the kitchen suited hubby and I to a T. Great communication with Nigel. Holiday went off without a hitch!

Very spacious and great layout to cater to different age groups. Handy location, great secure backyard to bring the dog also. Quick communication and contact with the property manager. Easy access. All in all a great choice and we'll be back!

Great to find a dog friendly property. We booked 2 nights but only stayed one as the sea conditions were hopeless for snorkellling. Good family spot in summer .

Easy check in, swift and clear communication! Great spot primo location, minutes walk to local shops/takeaways and the wedding venue that I was in Leigh for.Also minutes walk around two roads to the Leigh Sawmill Cafe/Restaurant bar.Highly recommend this place as.

We needed a place near the venue of the wedding in Leigh, and this was ideal. It's an older house without air conditioning, but with the large airy rooms and the fans provided, we were comfortable. The property manager was very responsive, and the checking in and out was simple. Very happy.

Location was perfect for a short weekend stay, for a friends wedding. Property was really great, and the owner was very easy to communicate with. We would highly recommend this property if you're looking to stay in Leigh.

Did walks, glass bottom boat and Leigh eats. Really enjoyed everything

A home away from home. Had everything that was required to make our stay welcoming. Good locality even though we spent a lot of time in the Matakana area. Great to look around Leigh as we all had never been there before.

Nice soace, food location, everything you need.

Great for groups that need seperated spaces. We booked accommodation for a Leigh sawmill event. Only a short walk through 3 shortcut walkways. Only very small minus was the furniture was musty and the outdoor lounger was covered in animal hair. Fully recommend staying here.

Great spot easy walk around Leigh. Fit for purpose. Just needed airing. Restaurants and bars have shorter hours so watch that. People super friendly. We'll be back

This bach was great! Better than the photos. all 4 adults had their own space and the place felt light and sunny. The fire was awesome. Close to the Leigh fish and chip shop and we swam daily down at Mathesons. Very close to the Leigh fire station so we had a few loud sirens but this did not bother us as all.

3rd time we have stayed here, great location, great facilities, very quite hideaway

Very clean and tidy. Beds comfortable and plenty of blankets. Plenty of room and private. Toilet seat was loose when we got there. In the booklet, the recycle day was actually the rubbish day. Beautiful location and relaxing. Loved walking around Leigh and surrounding areas. Locals friendly. Thanks very much. Would recommend to others.

Great handy location for the village and the gig at the Sawmill . Very comfortable with everything we needed . Loved the fenced backyard and covered patio area
