Le Triolet, a charming property in the heart of Amboise

Unique property in a great location for visiting the Loire Valley.

Lovely home and property about 20 min walk from the town of Amboise its many wonderful boulangeries, shops, and castle. The pool, hot tub, and garden were perfect for our needs: private and spacious with plenty of places to sit and relax and enjoy the outdoors. The kitchen and dining areas were also spacious with lots of dishes and seats. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and comfortable with plenty of extra linens and towels. One thing to note is that all except one bedroom had steps to get into the room, which was a little tricky for our more elderly guests with mobility issues. Just something to be aware of. The house is also quite old with the quirks that come with an old house, but has loads of charm and is clearly well loved by its owners. Check in was easy, but the person who met us to give us the keys spoke only French (we are English speakers). She spoke slowly so we were able to understand much of it with our basic French, but we had to use Google Translate at a few different points to make sure we were clear about certain aspects. The host was also wonderful, responsive, and helped work with us through an unfortunate issue that happened with our reservation. He also helped to quickly resolve a clogged shower drain. All in all it was a great stay and would certainly recommend.

Large rambling property with separate spaces to accommodate comfortably our group of 3 couples and 2 infants. Large outdoor areas with good sized swimming pool and spa pool. Great outdoor seating for meals. Easy walk into Amboise

A wonderful 10 days with friends. Much to love about the house and the surrounding area. Swimming pool is set on the other side of the road which was great for us as it meant it was extra safe for children. Alexandre is a fantastic host, thank you!

We have just returned from a wonderful stay, two families of four with kids from 3-9. The house is fabulous, very spacious, more than enough room for the two families not to feel on top of each other. We spent most mornings busy and afternoons by the pool, there is lots to do nearby and the town is around a 20 minute walk away. The pool is super secure, which was a great relief with a 3 year old in tow! The house is very very well equipped, we enjoyed bbq or outdoor eating for most meals, and also ate out a couple of times. Supermarkets nearby which are very easy to get to, there were even shopping bags to take to bring it all back! I would thoroughly recommend this beautiful house to any families looking for a stay that has everything.

Nice large property, good location and great host. Alexandre is prompt and helpful. Going above and beyond, he even made a dinner reservation for us at a restaurant that we could not reach by phone or internet. I’d stay again and would recommend this property to others.

Having access to a fairly large outdoor lot along with the pool and swingset and outdoor table made gave us even more space than is available inside. The entire family with age ranges from 3-70 enjoyed our stay in Amboise. Located a little out of town but very drivable or walkable.
