Larry’s Lazy Susan: Steps to the Surf, Perfect for Paws & Sunsets Reduced Rates

This place was lovely and just as advertised. We were looking for a house right on the beach and this couldn't have been any better! Just open the door and there you are! We appreciated all of the beach gear that was avaliable and had fun shelling and spotting creatures. The house was spacious (and cute!) and comfortable to just hang out in. It was everything we hoped for!

Beach view was fantastic...sound side also. Our kids were fascinated with the elevator and the spiral staircase. We loved being able to be on the beach in 15 seconds.

We so enjoyed the house and being right on the beach for our older dog to have a ramp instead of steps..everything was comfortable and perfect

This rental is directly on the ocean and has wonderful views. There is a great deal of room plus the house is truly decorated as a beach house. We had a wonderful week especially since the house is conveniently located.

Over the past 26 years we’ve stayed in a LOT of vacation homes on Topsail Island and Larry’s Lazy Susan is absolutely one of the very best we’ve been privileged to spend our time in! Lightning fast communication, awesome layout for medium-sized groups (we had 7 and had more space than we knew what to do with. The elevator was such a nice amenity and the proximity to the sand (LITERALLY steps!) was incredible!! The views, the well-stocked kitchen, the super comfortable living area seating and the plethora of bedrooms and bathrooms ensure that we’ll try to stay here often. Thanks Larry for another great Topsail vacation and we’re already looking forward to coming back!

House was as described

Very nice place. Right on beach which was convenient. Clean. Well stocked. Friendly host. Elevator nice for handicapped or elderly people staying.

This was our fifth visit to Larry’s Lazy Susan, and we’ve already booked and are looking forward to our sixth! That should explain why it gets a 10 out of 10 from us, every year! This was the first year we experienced a couple of days of bad weather. No worries! Larry’s Lazy Susan was awesome to relax and watch football in the cozy family room while watching some amazing waves driven by an early Nor’easter. We love this place! Great location on North Topsail. Close to shopping and great restaurants. Great for relaxing walks on the beach in either direction. The home has all you need. We love that we get to bring our dogs with us. Can’t imagine vacationing without them, and they enjoy their walks on the beach or the road that runs in front of Larry’s Lazy Susan. Can’t say enough!

It was a great property closer to the beach then we thought which was wonderful. A downside was the washing machine makes a horrific noise and at least one of the shower curtains had mold on it

10 out of 10. Absolutely loved this place. Check in was easy and place was exactly as advertised. Owner was in contact to make sure everything went smoothly. I've never stayed in a place that made me feel so much at home.

The house was awesome! The elevator came in so handy for my mother in law, it opened right up into her bedroom. The kitchen had everything we needed, and worked great. We will definitely consider staying here again!

It's always a pleasure staying here! We just spent our 3rd year here and I just booked our 4th for next year. This house is perfect for all of us and the dogs (even the ones that don't like the beach)

We did enjoy our time, however be aware that the house is right next to a public access with parking, so if you wanted a spot in front of the house for your beach chairs, we had to get out there by 8:30am otherwise the beach would be full. One of the reasons we stay oceanfront is to have private beach access. This is not the case. I also felt the house was a little dated and the showers were not tall enough for my tall family. Having pet-friendly accommodations was very nice, but we will probably try another rental house next year

This is right on the beach, spacious, clean, lots of amenities, close to surf city. Definitely would recommend this for anyone! Larry had great communication if we needed any thing.

There were 7 of us and two dogs. This house was wonderful. The two floor setup was great. My husband loved the crows nest couch overlooking the beach and living area. The elevator was so helpful for my 80 year old Mom, as well as packing and groceries. The view from the deck and the few steps to the beach were glorious!!

Perfect spot for large family and dogs

This house is the perfect get-away location for a week at the beach. Large enough to accomadate the entire family, but not too big if there are only a few of us. Not too far from non-beach activities, and also provides a perfect spot for watching the sun rise. This is probably the only time and place that I will get up earlier than at home, to watch the sun come up and to watch for dolphins to go by.

Larry's Lazy Susan was a very relaxing house and nicely decorated - colorful and beachy without being tacky. Excellent for handicapped people and dogs alike. Beach was very nice, and the home is located on an off street so we never had any issues with traffic noise - very easy to walk our dog at night. Our only disappointment was with Topsail Island itself, as the restaurant selection was not as good as beaches to the south of Wilmington. But the local Publix was great and there were several take-out seafood places for eating back at the house.

Lovely stay! The house is very cute. It could have been cleaned more thoroughly before we arrived, and the beach equipment could be sorted through to throw out what's broken (much was unusable) but the house is very cute and spacious, with a stellar location! The listing was as advertised.

My husband and I stayed for the week of March 15th to March 22. We had such a relaxing week! Susan has decorated the home with such love and care. Beautiful artwork throughout the home. Location is spot on! Easy access to beach! Plenty of shells to collect, dolphins to see and lots of pelicans and seagulls! Larry was outstanding to communicate with. Very quick response and even checked in with us to make sure everything was to our satisfaction! The elevator was so wonderful to have. No wait lines and so much easier to get our luggage and groceries in! I honestly cannot say enough great things about the owners, the house, nor the location! I highly recommend!

Loved the house. Location was great. I would highly recommend this house. It was great for our group and the elevator was definitely a big help for our physically challenged person.

This was the perfect place for a peaceful, low key girls weekend/bachelorette trip! The view was amazing, the house was big enough without being too big, and the decor was spectacular. I wish the bathrooms were bigger as there was only one that was big enough for my liking and the spiral staircase was a a little scary for some. Having the elevator was a lifesaver!! The only thing I wish it had was a. Ramp going down to the beach. Off season rates were very reasonable for the location and house itself!

We come every February for cousin who lives near Topsail birthday. Loved the house and especially being right on beach with deck. Weather wasn't great this time and didn't see dolphins, etc. Everything was good and we had a great time. Thank you!

We booked a trip to Topsail, NC where we have never been. Larry's house was exactly like it had been described & more. Larry was very kind & easy to contact if you had questions. We will stay hee again!

We had a great time with our family and dogs for Thanksgiving. The house is in a beautiful location with great views!

Our week at Larry’s Lazy Susan was just what we needed. Us Humans and our pups loved relaxing and hanging out while enjoying the view. We hope to visit this home again.

I was thrilled to find an oceanfront house with elevator that was completely accessible and dog friendly. Enjoyed amazing views (and beach access) from the deck. Furnishings throughout the house were attractive and comfortable and Larry was a very responsive host. I have every intention of booking again!

We all fell in love with the property. It was perfect for our family gathering aged 14-80. There were 8 of us and we all had plenty of room. The deck was wonderful and only steps from the beach. The house isn’t fancy, it is perfectly Beachy.

This was our fourth stay at Larry’s Lazy Susan and we are already counting the days to our fifth! We absolutely love North Topsail Beach and Larry’s Lazy Susan is perfect. The home has everything you need to enjoy your stay, and it is cozy for just a couple (and our two dogs) or more. We had 8 adults staying overnight at one point during our visit with room to spare. We can’t say enough great things about Larry’s Lazy Susan!

A wonderful, relaxed home with great family gathering spots and so close to the beach. We enjoyed the elevator for hauling luggage and food in and out, the round table for puzzles and games, and the large sectional where we watched the Olympics. The small beverage fridge and ice maker were helpful. A great spot for all ages!
