We had a girls trip here and it was the absolute perfect getaway! Luann was there when we checked in and gave us the low down of the whole property. The hot tub, firepit and over all vibe of the cabin made our trip even more elevated than we imagined. So grateful to have found it and would recommend to anyone!

We had an amazing stay and couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend the holidays with family. The home was spacious, comfortable, and had a wonderful ambience, cozy, peaceful, and perfect for relaxing together. Everything was well-maintained, and the setting made it easy to unplug and enjoy quality time. The only thing that would have made the stay absolutely perfect would have been a hot tub on site, especially after winter days outdoors/skiing, and switching out the full beds for queens… it was a bit . Overall, a fantastic experience and a place we’d happily return to!

The house was amazing. Clean, fully stocked kitchen with all the cooking needs. Most just have the basics but not Black bear. Nice linens, great pillows, games, movies and sports stuff for the kids. We were greeted with a beautiful decorated Christmas tree and a hot cocoa snack package. Can’t recommend LuAnn and Black bear enough!!

Our stay at the cabin was absolutely perfect. We were able to drive to a reasonable distance to glacier national Park and experience the beautiful surroundings of nature. All the amenities in the home where everything we needed and then some. Truly, a dream come true.

We had 12 older guys who booked LuAnn’s place for four days to play golf. It was great although a little tight for that many. Her place is well equipped and has great views of the pond. We had a fire one night and it was fun. Location is amazing. Close to everything. Lu Ann responds quickly and wants to make your stay enjoyable. We loved our stay and would most certainly come back.

We were a group of 9 adults. Mostly couples (in our 40's) getting together with old high school best friends and our spouses. We were there mid winter (MLK weekend) and the house was cozy and spacious. The perfect amount of bedrooms (5) and bathrooms (3) There is one king size bed, the rest are queens. Open concept upstairs. With a huge couch. Which was great to SINK into. The kitchen had all the supplies you would need to cook and function ( clean, utensils, garbage bags, saran wrap, coffee makers (2 kinds) etc). We were really happily surprised to see the goodies left for us by the host - thank you!! (I wont ruin any surprises) but it was a very nice touch. Really appreciated. We also were lucky that we were able to come a little earlier and were given permission to leave a little later - you probably can't expect that if they are busy but it was thoughtful. Especially since we flew in from out of town. It was very cold the weekend we were there so we didn't get to really use the outside amenities. We can see that would have been the top selling point of the property any other time of year. The house is a perfect mix of comfortable, homey, well equipped with good lay out. Also it is about 2 minutes from the closest bar/restaurant and 10 minutes from White Fish. Not far from Glacier, Airport and all that the area has to offer. highly recommend.

Black Bear is a lovely mountain cabin conveniently located not far from grocery stores, downtown Whitefish, and the ski slopes. We are a family of 13 with 6 of us staying in this cabin and 7 staying in a nearby property managed by the same agent. We gave the property a 5-star rating and would stay again in a heart beat. We have fallen in love with Montana.

We have been staying at this property every year for an annual hockey tournament and we are never disappointed. Plenty of space for all of us, great location, well kept property and exceptional response time from the host for any questions we had. We will definitely be staying again and will be recommending to anyone looking for a getaway in Montana with a larger group.

It was wonderful. The home is lovely and very clean. Great neighborhood and lots of places to walk. We did not worry about anything and truly enjoyed ourselves. It was also very quiet which we loved. Definitely will be back. Luann was great. There was a Christmas Basket full of goodies for us and she even supplied a Turkey pan for me. So thoughtful and unexpected.

A group of us, all friends, 4 couples, aged 60+, stayed at the house. The west entrance of Glacier National Park is an easy 25-minute drive from the house. We also found the Hungry Horse Reservoir a true gem not far from the entrance to Glacier. The communication was excellent. We met Luann on the way in. She’s friendly and warm and always answered any questions we had about where to eat, drink, etc. The house and grounds are immaculate, beautiful, and we had plenty of room for the eight of us. The couches were comfortable as we cheered on the Buffalo Bills one night. We spent a lot of time outdoors on the porch and observed the deer and turkeys that would wander past. The kitchen was well-stocked and easy to cook in. Great place to stay!
