Nice quiet weekend with family.

We had a fantastic trip at the cabin on the cove. The house was very family and dog friendly. The backyard was big and the water was beautiful. The host was very communicative and made our stay easy and pleasant.

This is an amazing property and we will definitely be bacSome of they things we (family of 4 dog) enjoyed:- Cabin was large, open and spacious. Lots of open space. Huge deck- Kitchen was large and well stocked. All bedrooms and beds were comfortable- Lots of open area all around the house - great to play games, run with the dog - very open and well kept- Cove was perfect - peaceful, quiet and so relaxing- Lots of options for water sports right there - kayaks, canoes, paddleboards - perfect for teenagersOverall it is a great place and perfect for a quiet and relaxing vacation. Ryan was amazing and quick to respond back - and that made it even more easy.We will be back!

Amazing property!! Everything and more that you would want for a nice relaxing stay!!! The cabin was exceptionally clean, linens were fresh. The kitchen is huge with plenty of staples stocked. The living space and bedrooms were spacious. The back deck was very nice for our family of 6 with dogs. The canoe was an added bonus!!! We really enjoyed the fire pit withsmores. Thank you for sharing your home; we look forward to coming again very soon!

We had a great time celebrating a big family Thanksgiving at this cozy and welcoming cabin. The rooms were accommodating with everything we needed. The kitchen was definitely the best part though. Spacious enough and well appointed for many cooks in the kitchen making memories and of course favorite dishes. The host was very gracious about answering questions promptly. Would definitely return.

Cabin On The Cove was perfect for our group of sewists and quilters. We enjoyed the lovely water views and especially the wildlife including deer, geese, and a blue heron who lived across the cove. The house was very comfortable and well equipped. We want to return!!

This property is wonderful for our family. We love the outdoor space, the view, and the house is very clean. We will be back.

A peaceful retreat.

We loved the location and quietness. We thoroughly enjoyed being able to take a morning paddle and access to crabbing and fishing. Very relaxing. Great communication and checkin, it worked very well for us. Perfect for someone looking for a quiet getaway!

Thank you to Ryan for a wonderful stay at the cabin. If you are looking for a peaceful stay for some R&R this is the place to be. Ryan went out of his way to make sure we had a canoe that I had requested. Unfortunately there were a ton of jellyfish the entire time we were there and the boys did not catch any fish. However, we did get some crabs and steamed them. Loved having the crab pots. The paddle board was great! Would def recommend!

We had a really good stay. The house was perfect for our group. Plenty of room and the kitchen was just right for us. I definitely would recommend this cabin for a family getaway

This property has great counter-space in kitchen and enough bedrooms to accompany an extended family/friends get-together. The privacy is great (especially when the corn is high) and the scenery is beautiful. It is as advertised. Our family of 6 adults and one 12-mo-old stayed 4 nights during a terrible heat wave. The downstairs stayed cool, but the upstairs had trouble maintaining a comfortable temp. The host provided box fans, and that really helped. Enjoyed the crab pots and kayaks. Saw the Spring Cove heron two days in a row.

The property was quiet, remote, and clean! This was a quaint and peaceful getaway for my family. We rented a boat nearby and went fishing! We would love to return again!

Relaxing and peaceful. 3 nights with plenty of space for the five adults. The kitchen was equipped with all the necessary items to cook and enjoy family size meal prep. I would definitely be back and hope to stay at the same location. Also, I found the price for my stay a whole lot reasonable than staying in a hotel.

Like being in your own home with great amenities, artwork, comfort, we did not want to leave and will be back. the beauty of the water, nature and green landscape is hard to explain.

This rental was a great idea for a weekend getaway. The kids loved being at a cabin on the water and being outside. Only downside was pollen but you can't control nature lol. Everything was cozy and comfortable. Found a great restaurant too and loved being off the grid. 100% would do again!

We loved the kayaks and view of the water, flat yard for playing games and sitting around the fire pit. This place is beautiful, & it’s a perfect getaway from the city. It was exactly as advertised on VRBO. The space was clean & stocked with many essentials. We also appreciated the small touches, such as the baby gate, as we traveled with a toddler. We definitely plan on visiting again!

The cabin was exactly as described - beautiful, serene, and clean. We had a good time. Weather cold have been better, but we were still able to catch a couple dozen crabs early in the week. Place is a bit remote, it takes awhile to get to other places, but that is what we like. Would recommend this rental to those who love privacy and the serenity of being on the water.

We stayed for a week and had an amazing time! We caught crabs off the back deck. We loved going to Vir-Mar beach and all the local fishing spots. We also tried out the sunset cruise and had a fantastic time! Definitely an amazing vacation and can't wait to go again in the future! Any questions we had were answered quickly, Ryan was a fantastic host!

Cabin on the Cove is a lovely home in a beautiful setting. We enjoyed all that the home had to offer! It is most spacious and comfortable. The cove was wonderful for kayaking and my granddaughter taught herself to stand up and paddle board. We played croquet on the lawn several times. Many thanks for a great holiday!

We enjoyed a relaxing long weekend in this beautiful, peaceful location. The house was clean and comfortable and the hosts are considerate and accommodating. We highly recommend this location for quality family time and outdoor recreation!

We loved our stay at Ryan’s cabin. We especially enjoyed using the SUPs and kayaks he provided. The kitchen has all the equipment you need to prepare meals, and there are plenty of towels. Ryan was wonderful to communicate with - very responsive, kind, and professional. Thanks for a fun and memorable stay!

We enjoyed our stay. The house was clean, the view was beautiful and it was secluded and peaceful, yet not a bad drive to restaurants and stores. The owner was very responsive and when the grill ran out of propane while cooking our dinner, he rushed over with his own tank from his personal grill. The kayaks, paddle boards and crab cages were a big hit with the kids.

Clean well equiped. Very friendly owner and neighbors. Perfect spot to bring your boat. Great access to Chesapeake Potomac river.
