Large Townhome w/Ocean View, Near Beach, Food + Pier, 2 Decks, Elevator, Dogs OK

Pirate Queens is a fantastic beach house with all the amenities you could ask for. The living areas were spacious, and the bedrooms were cozy. The short walk to the beach made our stay convenient and enjoyable. We would love to come back!

Our family, ranging from toddlers to grandparents, had a fantastic time at Pirate Queens. The elevator was a huge help for the older family members, and the kids loved the nearby beach and attractions. The house was spacious, clean, and had all the comforts of home. We highly recommend it for multigenerational vacations.

We loved our stay at Pirate Queens! Traveling with our dog was stress-free and we loved that there was nearby dog friendly beach areas and a nearby dog park. The house was spotless, and the management team was responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We'll definitely be back.

The house was great. The rooms were perfect for each member and we had plenty of kitchen utensils for making meals. The walk to the beach was easy and it was quick. There were little snack shacks around to grab something while out walking the dog.

Kitchen was extremely dirty. Old grime. Cabinets dirty. Refrigerator had bad odor. Appliances old and dirty. Window sills with old dead mosquitoes on them. Floors were very dirty. Urine spots on mattress covers. We had to clean and sanitize before unpacking food. I expected normal wear and tear from being at the beach but this was more than that. Bathrooms not too bad except for black mold looking stuff around shower. Previous tenants trash in overflowing trash cans causing odor and fly problem for first couple of days.

We found the location of Pirate Queens to be very convenient. Concerned with traffic out front but it actually was much quieter than anticipated. Adequate gathering space for our family of 9. We have stayed at multiple iTrip locations and continue to use them in the future.

Overall it was pleasant. The showers were not cleaned the best and also above the stove. Nothing that was going to hinder our stay but definitely something to have checked.

We had such a great family time on our recent vacation at this property. There was plenty of room for all 10 of us to hang out, play cards, and enjoy meals together! And the location is excellent, walking distance to the pier, restaurants and shopping.

We originally had plans to split a house 3 ways in OB but plans fell through so we found this place and paid for the WHOLE house with our portion that we were contributing to the other house. The location of this house is PERFECT! It's SO close to the beach access and I love that it's a relaxed, laid back beach, but if you want to do the touristy beach stuff, it's right down the road (our teenagers really enjoyed the boardwalk). The bunk room was great for our teens and their friends and it was so nice to be able to bring our dog with us (and the house didn't smell like some pet friendly homes I've been in! No evidence of pets being there other than the thoughtful extra dog bowls and waste bags outside). Fort Fisher beach was a great visit, right down the road, as well. Thanks itrip for being so accommodating and responsive throughout the week and making sure that everything was just right! We will be booking more vacation homes through you!

We really enjoyed our stay. We are VRBO owners too and can offer a couple friendly notes. 1. Six areas (5 bedrooms + living room) needs 6 televisions. There were 3. We had to bring one from home. 2. Saw a roach the last night in living room under coffee table. We know the beach has more than average bugs, but hopefully not roaches. 3. Your tile in the lowest level is really dirty. The Grout is black. All the grout throughout needs cleaning. 4. Your dryer may need replacing soon as it is making a strange sound. 5. The vacuum cleaner also does not work well and needs replacing. 6. Found a piece of broken glass under bar by window under barstool. Also found one inside the cabinet. 7. You may consider adding more weather-proof outdoor seating. The house holds a lot of people but the couch only holds 4 and gets wet and stays wet with rain. The plastics Adirondack chair is cracked and needs replacing. 8. A couple pillows only had pillow protector covers and not pillow cases on them. 9. It was great to have extra beach chairs and boogie board and a place to wash your feet. What a wonderful house!

We enjoyed our trip to Kure Beach and staying at Pirate Queens. The property manager was responsive and assisted us with all our needs.

My whole family enjoyed the beach house very much. We really liked that we could spread out, and enjoy the openness of the kitchen, it allowed multiple people in there at once. We also really enjoyed the location of the beach house. It was walking distance to restaurants, and very close to the beach access. The elevator really helped two of my family members that have mobility issues.

The house was great, plenty of space for the 9 of us. Kitchen has all the utensils for cooking. The separatw balconies are great for hanging out. Do be cautious of the chairs on the second floor balcony, they're a little dry rotted. The only complaint anyone had was that the floors were Very dirty, we all had black feet, and anytime there was something to wipe up the towel we would wipe it up with would come up black. But thats an easy fix. We just mopped and everything was fine! The access to the beach is right across the road, which was great with our kids. We enjoyed staying there.

Would highly recommend. Great location, clean, spacious. We enjoyed the top deck a lot. Management company was so wonderful.
